Slender but fleshy face? What's the cause?

Is it something I'm eating that is making my face fluffy?
I'm not in to fast food, fried food, sweets, or soda's. Just fish, lean meat (chicken/turkey breast), fruits, grains, and greens.

Genetics is the short answer- you can change your body quite dramatically but the shape of your face is mostly determined by the underlying bone structure and then with age as facial muscles deteriorate. If your face has dramatically changed in a short space of time i.e. less than a year then try your doctor but if it's pretty much the same face as the rest of your family then learn to love it. If you feel your face is making you look fat or that if you could only change your face then your life would be perfect then you may have body image issues and these also can be discussed with a family practitioner.My knowledge of this subject is based on being witness to a family members struggle with self image.Good Luck.

It's not what you're eating, dear, it's your age and genetic make-up. You may not have the genetic code to have big cheekbones like Cher, but with time the flesh of your cheeks will thin out giving you more definition. People don't reach the full bloom of their rose until the age of 30.

There's beauty in round faces - look at Julia Stiles. For a man, look at Leo DiCaprio. Nobody can say these two aren't drop dead gorgeous, round faces and all. Leo's getting older now and developing strong bone structure - and so will you!
