I dont understand why some people ask their questions. There are so many times that people ask about a certain disease or recipe. Do they not know THEY ARE ON YAHOO! They can click onto the Yahoo! search engine and type in their problem/needs/concerns press enter or click search and TEE DAH no need to kill 5 points. Because its getting old. And people are getting too lazy. And WHOS WITH ME? I dont know if this is just me. I suppose that is why we are here, to get points, but I'm not too fond of stupidity.

Am I not allowed to rant? And I put this under Health because what else am I supposed to put it under Sports? I also was unaware there was a specific way to spell TEE DAH/TAA DAH/TUH DAH/what have you. I believe my frustration is justified after seeing questions of people asking others to define words for their homework or asking "why do people eat." Excuse me if I do not have all the patience you may have.

STUPIDITY of YAHOO users?, and you put this question under general health? Like WOW, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. But let me give you an answer, and I'll try to keep it simple so that YOU can understand it. If you or anyone comes on to Yahoo Answers to ask a question OR to answer a question there IS a CHANCE that you might actually MEET someone. As IN FRIEND. BUT calling people stupid is NOT going to get you many friends. IF you use the Yahoo search engine there is a much better chance that you might get an equally good answer but it is more business and less person to person contact and as such LESS of a chance to meet anyone. In other words you won't have as much fun. AND so you can understand part of coming onto Yahoo Answers is to have FUN. Did I confuse you yet? OH one more thing the EXPRESSION IS TAA DAH NOT TEE DAH

You know, if you can take a step back and view it objectively, points are not as big a deal as we make them out to be. They just come to seem that way the more often we log on, and the more caught up we get with what goes on here.

But you could just as easily keep an Answers account, logging on occasionally, whenever you have a question and to answer just enough to keep points on the board. It may be difficult for you to understand because you take 'the game' seriously, but other users' points are just that: other users' points, to use as it suits them. If they care to ask their question on Answers because they think the responses will be more personal and up-to-date than a general topic search, that's their prerrogative. You can't argue with that, and it's not fair for you to call that "stupidity" on the part of other people.

Points aren't the be-all and end-all, try to take it easy on us, other Yahoo folk.

I'm definitely with you on this one. I don't mind answering intelligent questions, but some are senseless. People ask questions about the size of their reproduction organs. This is not the place to be discussing such things. If one has a concern, they shoud talk to their family doctor, not put it on this public space where anybody can read it. There is so much mindless chatter about illicit affairs, ( is it OK to sleep with a married man?), (how do I keep the guy if he doesn't love me?), etc. I visit yahoo answers because I want to see what others are talking about. I find it increasingly difficult to keep sifting through the garbage to find a few good questions or comments. If this is any indication of the intelligence of our society, we are all in big trouble.

properly i think of maximum folk do no longer think of of their words as having means. maximum are reactive. Did you ever say some thing you deeply regretted-and located your self paying for it. words can wound others, yet they might additionally ignite forces that effect the activities and situations of our lives. This fact is hid from our rational minds via an innate, egotistic, slender mindedness. think of what the international could be like if all of us spoke useful. it relatively is exciting, the Kabbalah, teaches that we come into the international with a predetermined type of damaging words that we are allowed to utter. whilst the allotment is used, dying overcomes us. I regularly ask your self what share I even have left. anyhow, silence the ego, press the mute button, and contact upon your information so as that each and every word elevates your self and others. For those of you who purely utter the damaging, remember your days ought to be numbered.

To me asking a question on yahoo answers and then receiving a variety of answers from different people is very educational. It gives me the chance to study out and rationalize the best ans wer to my concern. also these answerer's are very intelligent people and have refered me to good web sites. However I am with you on the part that there are some questions that are asked that are below average on the I.Q. scale. But maybe they are legit questions to them. Who knows.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. Judging by some of the questions, there are also a large number of dyslexics asking questions and trying to get answers. If we could only understand their gibberish they may even get a sensible answer.

i know how you feel. its really annoying and often its really surprising that they havn't gone to see a dr. and are asking random people on the internet for help. they just take their health for granted.
if only everyone were as smart as you, there wouldn't be a yahoo answers!

Sometimes I wonder why people ask what they ask. I figure some people might not know how to use search engines. If I can help, I do.
