Are there boats avalilable for transport to Thailand anywhere along the China coast?

I am going to travel to Macau by train from shanghai and want to get to bangkok the most economical way possible. I hope I can have a clear correct answer!

Not likely, the only Chinese boats that travel to Thailand do so along the Mekong River, most likely from the southern areas, not from the coast.
