I can take off my left eye's contact lens in a second, but the right eye one just doesn't come off no matter how I pinch it, is there any trick to take it off? Cause I've tried for one hour or so...Urgent!! Plus, the right eye was red before I put the contacts on today...no it's evening and I wanna take it off...so are there any tricks on how to take that stubborn contact lens out? (e.g put more water/contact lens solution/use clean but drier fingers) [I've tried all before]

Remove the stuck contact lens by washing your hands and make sure the drain in the sink is closed. Put your index finger on your lower eyelid and pull the eyelid down. Continue removing stuck contact lens by touching the lower edge of the contact lens with the tip of a finger. Try removing stuck contact lens by looking up and trying to slide the lens down toward the white of your eye.

Removing stuck contact lens at this point can be tricky if it is truly stuck. Try looking up and holding the lens under your index finger. Move your thumb and try to compress the lens carefully between your thumb and index finger. Removing stuck contact lens may become rather aggravating so use some patience and try a few re-wetting drops.

When you are removing stuck contact lens and you wear hard contacts you can try using a plunger. You will not have any luck removing stuck contact lens if they are the soft variety.

If you are using a hard variety. Then You moisten the cup of the plunger and place it right on top of the lens. The lens should be easily removed because it will stick to the plunger. Removing stuck contact lens this way usually is the best plan.

When you have soft contacts, removing stuck contact lens is a little trickier. You have to use your fingers and just keep lubricating your eye.

Removing stuck contact lens is not much fun but it can be done. If you really have a serious problem removing stuck contact lens, contact your ophthalmologist.

Simple:
1) Cover the other eye to see through the problem eye. Make sure you have good vision (i.e. lens is in place). We can not remove a lens that is not there
2) Put 2 drops of lubricant/ multipupose solution (NEVER PEROXIDE SOLUTION) over the lens in problem-eye, close your eye & massage from over the lid. This should make the lens mobile
3) With clean hands, now pinch off the lens
4) See your eye-care practitioner after this even if you have been successful
Good luck!

Wash your hands really well with soap and water. Put more solution in your eye to get the contact really wet and try to slide it off. If you can get it off a little bit, like pull it over to the right, it's usually easier than trying to pull it off from the pupil.
