I compare it to a phrase that I heard a long time ago, "There are no atheists on a battlefield.'
People can claim that they don't believe it as presented - or that they don't believe at all. But bottom line is that if such was true, such comments as the one you point out wouldn't be coming out.

Probably the same reason why I find verses in the Quran to show its contradictions, even though I do not believe it is worth the paper its written on. I show flaws in evolution even though I think its foolish.
They don't believe in the Bible so they say we use God as a crutch. They ask wild questions about God in an attempt to dismiss God and prove the Bible wrong. They need to realize, that we can not answer every question about God. There are some things that we can not possibly know. We can use the Bible and try to interpulate the answer, but some things we can't know for sure. One thing is for sure, Jesus died for our sins. If we accept him as our personal savior we are granted mercy and will live in heaven. If we reject his gift, we will spend eternity in hell.

Good point.
It's interesting how some people accuse Christians of using God as a crutch -- when many of these same people use God as a scapegoat for everything that goes wrong in the world.

First, I think you generalized everyone of a certain faith into one type of thinking. I have seen people who behave and believe that God did some "poof"work too. But that is not how every Christian thinks. God requires His people to work. He condemns laziness, but and does not reward anyone who is lazy. Some people are born with benefits or things happen that make them appear successful, yes. There are also people who work their entire lives and never become "successful" by our standards. God chooses us to fit into His plans, He doesn't choose people to be successful or rich. People who say they are Christians and tell you this - are delusional and/or lying. If they really believe that God will bless them with riches, they are in for a big surprise. Look at the disciples... they lived in squalor unless someone was generous with them, and most renounced wealth, family and fame. They were often spit on, laughed at and went without food. They were only blessed with peace. And being content with what they had.

God doesn't send people to hell, people send themselves to hell when they don't accept Jesus Christ. And the wars will be stopped when Jesus Christ comes back. And dying is a part of life, nobody can get around dying. And there is nothing wrong with leaning on God, that's what He wants us to do.

Martha, I'm not sure where you are coming from.
We cannot know the mind of God; his thoughts are so much higher than ours. His ways so much higher. Who has known His mind, or who has been God's conselor??? Who has given to God that God should repay?
I have no hope but to use God, in Jesus, as a crutch.
Are we sisters?

First off no where in the Bible does it state that it will be a perfect life here it states that if you sin you will be punished. People die for the mere fact that God is ready for them they did what they had to do here and it is time for them to go home hopefully to Heaven God gives people many chances to redeem themselves to him but he also gives you the choice to do it. God does knwo about the wars and many other things that are horrible that happens but he does EVERYTHING WITH A PURPOSE!!!!!!!! For instance if you do drugs or have unprotected sex and bad things happen YOU had the choice God did NOT make you do it you chose to do it
