This short question is among the most profound questions ever asked. And no human would ever be able to answer it sufficiently. One thing is certain, however. God does not love us because we are lovable or because we deserve His love. If anything, the opposite is true. The state of mankind since the fall is one of rebellion and disobedience. Jeremiah 17:9 describes man’s inner condition: “The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” Our innermost beings are so corrupted by sin that even we don’t realize the extent to which sin has tainted us. In our natural state, we do not seek God; we do not love God; we do not desire God. Romans 3:10-12 clearly presents the state of the natural, unregenerate person: “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” How then is it possible for a holy, righteous, and perfect God to love such creatures? To understand this we must understand something of the nature and character of God.
First John 4:8 and 16 tell us that “God is love.” Never was a more important declaration made than this; never was more meaning crowded into a few words than in this short sentence—God is love

First of all, God is perfect, all knowing, AND loving. God did not create satan or evil because he doesn't love us. Satan started out as a high angel. Then he thought he could overthrow God's power, so he rebelled against him along with many other angels. As a result of this God cast them into hell. God has given us the gift of free will. He knew that some people would make the right decisions and the wrong decisions. In the Garden of Eden God told Adam and Eve they could eat from all of the trees except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve were tricked by satan to eat the fruit, which was the first sin. God sent them out of the garden for disobeying him and they could never enter again. Because God is all knowing he knew that because satan existed he would try to trick them and that they would eat of the tree. Some people say "why did God let this happen, he could have stopped it?" Yes, he could have easily stopped it from happening, but he has given man free will. Just because there is murder, rape, famine, disease, and poverty, in the world doesn't mean God has stopped loving us. Are the people comitting murder and rape people who beleive in God? No, they're not. So how than they make the right decision to not do these things if they don't know God. Disease and poverty are not caused by God. They are a result of other actions. For example, America's standards of living are very high. Therefore there is a high demand for goods. Because of this high demand for goods it is putting strain on the countries that provide the goods. Because these countries need to produce goods at a fast rate they are highering large quantities of people and paying them hardly anything and putting them in extreme conditions and forcing them to work very long hours. This causes diseases, death, and poverty. Famine is also not caused by God. Because of the amount of meat Americans and other people eat in the world it can cause famine in countries that provide the meat. This can happen because the amount of grain it takes to produce an 8oz steak can feed 50 people. Hopefully you can see that God is a loving God and he is not causing these bad things to happen. All of this is a result of free will. We are the only ones that are making our lives harder.

The Bible speaks of an unforgiveable sin (Matthew 12:31-32). The sin that Christ speaks of here is a rejection of the very spirit of God. God has sent the Holy spirit to inspire our hearts to come and accept the gift of salvation, the only sin that God won't forgive is for you to outright reject that gift. God RESPECTS your will so much that He'll go so far as to allow you to completely reject him. Of course, He would rather you love Him, but he's not going to force you. After all, what kind of loving relationship would that be? So you see, it isn't a lack of love; it's an overabundance of respect for you, an overwhelming loving desire for you, and an eternal hope that you'll make the right decision and turn to Him.

We struggle with the fact that God is so perfect and we are so far from perfect it is hard for us to understand. Here is the answer to your question. God gives us free will, freedom of choice. He makes us aware of Him and we have the chance to accept or reject him. It is not God sending us to hell it is us rejecting his only Son Jesus Christ that sends us to Hell. We send ourselves to hell by the choice we make. When we sin there must be an attonement for that sin. Heaven is a perfect place and sinners are not welcome, so God sent his Only Son to die on the cross , taking our place, and when we do not accept the sacrifice that was made we are unable to give a sacrifice that is worthy of clearing away our sins, so God made a way through Jesus Christ and when we reject him we reject our salvation. So as you see God does not send any one to hell , it is a choice that we make ourselves by rejecting the one that paid the price for our sins. Look at it this way. If someone gave you a checkbook filled with money, enough money to pay for everything you could ever want or need in life, yet you lived in the slums because you refused to open the checkbook to see how much money you have. Many people don't open the bible and see the promises of God and they miss the one that says that no man shall come to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the price and so he must be our savior for us to enter into the kingdom. When we reject him we send ourselves to hell through freedom of choice. God never forces himself on any one. "Behold I stand at the door and knock." Satan does not knock he pushes himself in to take over , to kill , steal and destroy. It is our choice.

Not only is God perfect love, He is also perfect justice. He has given a kingdom to His Son, Jesus. He has also given a kingdom to His creation satan. We get to choose which kingdom we live in. We are the ones who choose not God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Father God wants people to go to live in satans kingdom. In facts, in John 3 it says that Father God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world so that the world, thru Jesus might be saved. Father God advises you in His Word. Choose life not death. We alone are responsible for where we spend eternity.

God's love is indeed perfect. In case of any love, it has to be a two way relationship. For example, if you love one person and you keep expecting the person to love you, and you dont get a response at all, that relationship will never work.
God has given everything for us, from creating us, providing food and water, oxygen , even to the extent of sending His son as a sacrifice and to tell to us about His love.
Dont you think, now its our turn to reciprocate?

Why should a human go to heaven and live forever in gods love if he worships satin? religion gives us false ideas on what we have to do to get into heaven, personally i think that all we have to do to get into heaven is to believe in him and live our lives as healthy as possible (knowing when you have or are about to sin).
I think religion was created by men that want to control everything, i mean what the hell is the pope? he says hes one of gods workers?? he sits on his fat *** all day and gets treated like royalty. Also they say that you have to follow the rules for god to love you and yet they say gods love is unconditional. If you look at the ten commandments they are there as guide lines to keep us in a HAPPY life. Its all for us and always has been. Im sure that there is hardly anyone in hell except for maybe hitler. I just think that fair is fair, if we dont at least try to believe then why should he save us? if we go to hell then it doesnt mean he no longer loves us, just that we didnt give him a chance.

you say that the love of God is perfect when you have faith in God but you say everything against God if you do not have faith in Him. Someday, somehow, you repent and be called by God to serve him. You are at present under the reign of satan

According to many he does not "send us" We send ourselves.. Still that begs that question why does he "allow it" , which is just a cruel as sending us. Basically, he supposedly created us, created the environment we are in, knows everything about us, knows our future, but yet instead of helping in the slightest bit he lets us wander a one way path to hell.. Sounds like a great fella.
Oh wait, he gave us the Bible, which contradicts Science.. Great.. Thanks God (sarcasm)
