God guides us in our lives IF we let him. You have to have unwavering faith, and believe that God will take care of you, through every day, and all the way through your life as a faithful child of his.
We are commanded to always be ready to give an answer to whosoever asketh us about the faith that is in us.
The gospel, holy inspired word of God is the reason we have faith.
We are to preach the gospel to every creature (creation) Mark 16:15,16
Romans 10:13,14,15,16,17 So then Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

I don't believe that God "controls" everything, nor do I believe I have the power to change other people. Only God can do that. However, Christians can plant the idea in a person's mind, even if it starts off very small.
As far as God "controlling" things, I do believe that He knows the outcome of everything that's going to happen, and He ALLOWS for certain events to transpire for reasons we can't see. But I don't think that means that He necessarily "controls" everything.

We are born in this world about 20 to 50 years back. We know that world existed so many years before we were born. And just like all great people have died, we will also die. But there is one hope for those who believe God and follow Jesus that, as Jesus rose up from dead, we will also rise up.
It is also very true and thats why they try to tell everybody. If its not true, why should we suffer and try to impart on somebody what we dont think is worthy at all.

Please understand that Father God will only intervene on man's behalf if prayerfully ask with faith not doubting. Example in 1963, Father God was told to leave the American political scene as well as educational facilities. Father God is a gentleman and did as we asked. America had never lost a war until that time. More children went to college. This was only the beginning.

That's a very good question. It's the Holy Spirit that convicts the world of sin, not anything a Christian says.
The Bible should be used to judge our own lives, not anyone else's. That's God's place, not ours.

We don't have the "power" to change somebody, you have to do that for yourself. Jesus Christ said to spread the gospel, but you have to least hear the Word of God to know what it says. You have free will whether you want to believe in His word.

>>>Why do christians, who believe that god is all powerful and controls everything...<<<
Hold on, stop right there.
What makes you think that Christians believe that "God controls everything"?
Ever hear of something called "free will"? We Christians believe in it quite strongly.
