I would put:

Mr. & Mrs. David (last name her) & family.

I think that would look proper, and elegant.

The outer envelope would be addressed as such:

Mr. and Mrs. David Jones
address (st, ave, Blvd, etc all spelled out)
City, State (spelled out) zip

The inner envelope would be addresses as:
David and Dee or Mr. and Mrs. David Smith
Chetara
Mariah

The inner envelope should have the parents names go on the first line. Children are listed oldest to youngest below their parents names. All children 18 and over should receive their own invitation even if they are still residing at home.

Try to stay away from Mr and Mrs John Doe and kids/family. This gives them wiggle room to bring along extras and doens't say exactly who's invited.

Hi. You send a RECEPTION INVITATION....which, obviously differs from the wedding invitation. There are examples on the internet of wording. Here is one example: Sarah Jo Johnson and Brian Thomas Smith invite you to a celebration in honor of their marriage Saturday, the fifth of September Two thousand nine Six o'clock in the evening Golf Shores Country Club 111 Golf Shores Drive Tampa, Florida Sarah and Brian will be married in a private ceremony earlier in the day. Of course, this is just an example. Use Google and type in "reception invitation wording." There are lots of examples. You can also make it more informal by not spelling out the day, time, etc. Hope this helps!

It would depend how formal you are having the wedding, for full on formal it would be, Mr. & Mrs. XXXXXX and Family. Semi - formal would be something like David, Dee and Children and Informal it would be David, Dee, Chetara and Mariah. I hope this helps.

if it's the addressing envelope you put mr. and mrs. david last name and family. if it's the inner envelope you put david and dee and family or you can list the children's names since there are only 2. they will go under the parent's names.

You could say "the Jackson family" or whatever. You could also say Mrs. Jane Doe and family. It's up to you.
