If someone borrow a shirt from me, and then they got a boil under their arm, but I washed the shirt. Is it safe to wear it again, or should I worry about leftover bacteria?

This person with "boils under their arm" may be suffering from a disease called Hidradenitis Suppurativa. If that is the case, then the "boils" are NOT contagious. Check out http://www.hs-usa.org or http://www.hs-foundation.org for more info.

The best way to find out if they are contagious or not is for this person to have the fluid/pus inside the boils cultured.

Just wash the shirt again in hot water again.

Rest your mind at ease.
