I love carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Also, I love cheese cake!!!

Here's a tip I use on cakes I make -
any flavor frosting you want.
I surprised my wife this year with a yellow cake that had grape frosting. (She loves grape)
She asked how I did it and I refused to tell her - keeping it a secret from her. But here's how ya do it
get a package of plain vanilla frosting. I recommend the good stuff, but make sure it's plain vanilla.
Mix in one package of unsweetened Kool-Aid mix. Do not add additional sugar, as the frosting is chock full of it.
Mix well, then spread on cake.
As for me, my favorite is dark chocolate red velvet cake. Easy to make and delicious. I prefer coconut caramel icing.

When I used to like cake, I liked carrot w/cream cheese as well, angel food cake, and spice cake (I think it was sprinkled w/powdered sugar).
Is some one having a sweet tooth?

Ooooohhh. I've actually dropped everything I was doing a few times becasue I had a craving for cake. I'll have it almost anytime.
I love chocolate cakes. I'll eat just about anything, though.
Mmmm ..... caaaake.

You've just gotta love a nice Opera cake, and some tres leches, with a nice rice pudding filling, or maybe a good genoise, with an almond buttercream, and a nice ganache. god, I want some cake now.
