Which are the natural and herbal hair dyes availablable for black hair?

I have an elergic reaction to chemical hair dyes. I don't want to use henna as the red colour it gives to the hair, doesn't suit me at all. Are there any totally herbal hair dyes available which would give dark brown or black colour?

u can try wella koleston decore,an almond extract with a special rich texture n a new pleasant fragrance.this's a very good product i used to apply.

My grandmother used a rinse that she made from sage; you will want to start with a lite mixture so as not to make to dramatic of a change all at once. Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup sage boiled in 6 to 8 cups water for about 10 minutes allow it to cool completely strain through an old white t-shirt and rinse hair with the tea after washing and let it dry naturally; When she passed away she looked a little odd because she was in her late sixty's and had black hair. I am 51 and still have black hair.
