Or at lease just as powerful.

If we always learn, and there is eternity to learn, wouldn't we eventually learn it all, since there is forever to learn everything?

Besides, what father doesn't want their son or daughter to become greater than they? To have the best?

Remember now, within infinity, rests all knowledge, and knowledge is power!

Wanting to be God Himself is not a good idea, Satan tried it and look what it is getting him, and where he is going to be for all eternity. As for eventually learning it all in eternity and this knowledge gaining you eventual godhood...

Well, if you think about it for a moment, that would have already happened in eternity (and/or there would be no problem with going back in time and pulling yourself out of this mess and into your kingdom). But let us sidetrack all that for a moment and try to answer the question and be respectful to God.

First of all, there is absolutely no indication in the Word of God that this will ever happen. In fact, it says plainly that it will not, that we will reign forever with God, and with God being our God. So the fact might be, that we will be perfect and never have want of anything, therefore, we just may never "go there." No reason, no purpose, no motivation.

However, I suspect that the answer will be beyond our capacity to accept. By that I mean the answer might be too big for us, no matter what.

At first I wanted to point out to you that one can never put two cups into a one cup container, that our spiritual bodies would have limitations (in this example, being a true god would be inifinite cups, not just two -- and two being beyond all possibility even if given a forever amount of time). In a sense it would be like the painting wanting to become the artist. And I am sure that all of this is true and that the answer is something like, "this is something that is, and always shall be, beyond all you are or can be."

God's grace is, and shall be, sufficient for us. (see Revelation 21:1-8, Revelation 22:1-5)

Its simple, simple man, have you created anything lately?
Do you have minions of worshipers?
All you all powerful, all knowing?
Do you know everything?
You are just an ant in the ant hill of planet Earth just like the rest of us.

God shares his power and glory with his Son Jesus, and will share it with nobody else. You are not God and never will be so get over it. You are going to be judged by God one day, and you will tremble.

Knowledge does not give you the powers to create life. That's why your not God and he is!

You can't ever be God because you were born into sin and God is perfect.
No matter how hard you try you lose.
