For my homework, I need to make up a metaphor a simile that expresses the phrase, "Slow and steady wins the race". It can't exist already. Any ideas?

I'd assume that the new simile and metaphor is supposed to be about diligence and pateince.

I guess something about slow and steady always pulls through.

for a metaphor you could say "life is a race, that we must take slow and steady"

hmm i agree that assignment is a little difficult seeing as the saying is already a complete philosophy by itsself. its not really a comparison the way similes and metaphors are soo I dont know what to tell you other than to remember that similes use 'like' and metaphors use "as".

Is the new simile and metaphor supposed to be about diligence and pateince perhaps?
