should we all chip in and pay for our poor "oppressed" Christians to take a holiday in Saudi Arabia?

I think they should experience oppression if they want to discuss it,

Jesus said, "Happy are ye when ye are persecuted for righteousness sake" and many other such sayings. Some Christians feel they are not good Christians if they are not being persecuted. Since, in this country, persecution is lacking, it makes them antsy. Saying something unkind to some Christians makes them proud that they endure hardship.
Christians have a tendency to look for persecution so they will win approval in God's eyes.
I am a Christian and I have observed this in others quite often. Not myself tho, no. no.

Sadly, this is true. Many Christians in our Western world could not imagine the kind of oppression that others in the world experience everyday.

OK, so its OK if we are oppressed as long as it is not as bad as the oppression somewhere else. Come on Dork get a life!

Indeed.That is real oppresion.
Yet,so many on here assume that Christians telling of persecution are American. It's possible that the ones telling of this are living in areas where they themselves are living in danger because of their beliefs.Perhaps we should listen instead of so quickly assuming that they are complaining of something else.
