I worked in prisons for many years, and I was given the displeasure of having to work a Muslim service. I noticed that all of them were bowing towards the South, rather than the East. I stated to one of them later, "You were bowing towards the South, the Confederate Army thanks you! " He was not happy!

No, Allah would not be angry. In certain situations, being in the wrong direction or not following the steps involved in prayer is acceptable. When traveling, there are all kinds of exceptions for prayer, including the length of the prayer and positioning. Being trapped in an elevator would allow for the same exceptions. Prayers can also be done at a later time if circumstances arise that prevent praying at the designated time.
Nice try at being sarcastic. (note the sarcasm here too?) Try asking questions in a nice way.

NO, it's the intent that matters. It's not the muslim's fault. Allah knows what's in the heart, and if the person kept the prayer time even though he or she faced the wrong direction, it's not a sin. That's like saying to bury dead muslims with pigs. Nothing will happen to them because they didn't do it themselves. It was forced. Another thing about pork, if you need to eat it out of necessity to stay alive or need a valve to replace something in your body, it's not a sin and the Quran also says this. :)

very funny,no he would go in any direction,if he doesn't know the direction of meccca,God doesn't want to make it hard, and he never orders you to do something you couldn't.
002.286 Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people.(QURAN)

He can wait until he gets home or to a suitable place of worship. Islam is not requiring you to just stop in the middle of an intersection for example and pray in the traffic. I sense sarcasm in your questio or perhaps I'm wrong.
