I tasted this dessert while I was visiting some friends in Lebanon. It is called Pasta Pudding and it is very easy to make. It is tasty too.
Bring 4 cups of milk to a boil in a heavy bottom or non-stick pot.
Break about 3 oz spaghetti in half and add it to the milk.
Turn down the heat to a simmer and continue cooking until the milk thickens and the pasta is done, stirring from time to time.
Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste and continue cooking for a couple more minutes.
Flavor with two teaspoons of orange blossom water or vanilla.
Transfer to individual bowls and sprinkle top with crushed unsalted pistachios.
Serve warm or cold.
Bon Apetit.
