Can God give visions to people today? Yes! Does God give visions to people today? Possibly. Should we expect visions to be an ordinary occurrence? No. As recorded in the Bible, God has spoken to people many times by means of visions. Examples would be Joseph son of Jacob, Joseph the husband of Mary, Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Peter, Paul, and many others. The Prophet Joel predicted an outpouring of visions, and this was confirmed by the Apostle Peter in Acts chapter 2. Note - the difference between a vision and a dream is that a vision is given when a person is "awake" while a dream is given when a person is "asleep."
At the same time, we must be very careful when it comes to visions and the interpretation of visions. We must keep in mind that the Bible is finished, and tells us everything we need to know. The key truth is that if God were to give a vision, it would agree completely with what He has already revealed in His Word. Visions should never be given equal or greater authority than the Word of God. God’s Word is our ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice. If you believe you have had a vision and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your vision is in agreement with Scripture. If so, prayerfully consider what God would have you do in response to the vision (James 1:5). God would not give a vision to a person and then keep the meaning of the vision hidden. In Scripture, whenever a person asked God for the meaning of a vision, God made sure it was explained to the person (see Daniel 8:15-17).

yes, I had a vision of the coming of our wonderful Lord. I also know a pastor who had a dream of this special event too. Be ready, because He will come when least expected. My opinion is that this will happen not far from now, because from what I can see from these answers you received is that very few actually believe in the 2d coming. How many years would it take these people to influence our, Christians/believes, belief?

specific I even have had desires, yet they're completely diverse from what you communicate of. In my dream i'm continuously someplace with a Atheist and a God fearing individual. Jesus comes from the clouds the place all can see. The God fearing individual falls to their knees simply by fact the Atheist runs off to cover. no person is Rapture in my dream, simply by fact in my dream the a hundred and forty four,000 are already with Christ. i've got had many many many desires bearing directly to the return of Jesus. My final one replaced into just about 3 weeks in the past. In that dream, i replaced into in my abode with my kinfolk and a Atheist. impulsively we heard the loudest sound. We have been given up and ran exterior and shall we see Jesus descending from the clouds with the a hundred and forty four,000 at his area. I fall to my knees and start up crying, specific Jesus is right here , and that i'm so excited. Then i seem and notice each and every of the non believers and that i'm getting unhappy. In my dream no person gets despatched to heaven, for we that are left are already abode. those that have been taken replaced into those to be achieved away with. I even have had lots of desires like those and a few seem so actual. i assume what i'm questioning is why our desires are so diverse. i'm a God fearing woman and that i admire God. he's the main extreme!! I serve him and him on my own. Do you relatively have the present of visions? Or do I even have the present of desires? who's staggering? Why are they thoroughly diverse?

I had one once of Christ coming in the sky on a white horse. He flew back and forth through the sky getting closer and closer to me, but didn't just come straight for me. He circled the sky many times before coming directly for me. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what it means but I know it was of God because I have always been very religious but cannot ever remember having any other religious dreams.
Blessed Be

I have not, but just because I have not doesnt meant that others dont. It is hard to tell what is from God, and what is not, but Peace always comes with a sign from the Lord. My friend has experianced a release from a binding addiction to other spiritual things that was hard to fight agianst. For her future she had to fight. She knew it was from God because it was not a pressure. It was a way out without a addiction or an attraction to it. Her future and the lives of her children depended on her.

considering your beliefs determine your reality, i guess what christians see in their astral travels relates to their end-of-times doctrine.
Just like Muslims see their doctrines fulfilled in their visions.
