No, alcohol consumption is a choice.
Advertisements for alcohol are everywhere, just walk down the street and you see ads in pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes.
Plus they are the most entertaining ads on telly.
I really don't think they encourage drinking, education does start at home.

We dont have either in america. Ya think they would do that for exhaust first or Asbestos. What can ya do but shake ur head. Gosh I resigned from . And ignore a job in July of last year to relocate and our break and eating area was so beyond OSHA standards for asbestos we were supposed to be required to wear full body protection to even be in that area but it was our lunch room. The whole cieling is exposed asbestos. Ft. Funston in SF. Ca. I worry about the guys but never reported since we had inspections and the inspectors caught it and could not believe we were expected to accept a sign pointing up that said asbestos. Sure ban smoking and drinking. Ignore the rest.

Yes ban alcohol advertising, but promote language and literacy skills. Seems to be a need.

it didn't make any difference with cigarettes advertisement ban so i don't see where it will with alcohol either
parents need to advise the kids NOT TV
