I have seen so many crazy diets and other things that guarantee that you will lose weight, and most NEVER work.
I have found that there is only 1 way to really lose the weight. First, make it clear to yourself that you are going to do it. Then find out what kind of exercise you like. Some fun ways you might consider are bicycling, swimming and hiking. But remember that this is about YOU, not someone trying to make money off of you. Next, is your diet. Think carefully about what you really enjoy that is not fattening. Create a diet that you will enjoy. Make sure that you like it or you will NEVER stay with it.
A few other things to consider...
1. Starvation diets guarantee that you will never lose weight. Your body is scared because you're not eating, so it will hang on to all your fat.
2. Eating one big meal or only when you're hungry works the same as starvation diets.
3. Eating more small meals is good because your body realizes that it is being fed regularly, so it is willing to flush the fat out of your body.
Just remember that if you enjoy what you are doing, you will win as long as you are sensible about your diet and exercise.

I had to change my whole style of eating. I was addicted to carbohydrates and sugar. So I started eating lots of vegetables and some fruit and started taking supplements, also exercising and I feel so much better, and only have lost 42 pounds in a year but I have lost inches like 4 dress sizes and have kept the pounds off. I also do not eat any white stuff, or dairy products except a bit of unsalted butter. I use Sea Salt. For breakfast I cook 1/2 cup of rolled oats in a cup of boiling water 1/4 tspn. sea salt, cook until done, then add 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries or unsweetened apple sauce. Add heaping tspn. of cinnamon and use Stevia (natural herbal sweetner) a few drops. Stir it all together and add about 6 half walnut pieces chopped up, and enjoy. No sugar, and no Milk! It is absolutely delicious and I also have it as a snack sometimes.
The Otameal gives you the fiber you need and the blueberries are great anti-oxidants which we need, the apple sauce is the fruit and natural sweetness,the cinnamon is great for the heart and the nuts are also needed. A lot of people do not eat breakfast, or eat the wrong kind. That is your most important meal. Make sure you drink lots of water to flush your system out, as our bodies are 2/3 water so we need ti keep the water in our bodies. Take your weight and divide it by two and that is how many ounces of filtered water you need to drink in a day. Most people are drastically dehydrated because they do not drink water. This question doesnt make much sense !! Exercise is a must or at least some type of Physical activity to activate metabolism
will help lose some weight. Drink plenty of water . eat 6 small size meals a day so your metabolism stays active over a longer range through out the day.

how did you determine your caloric intake? you need to take into account body composition and the daily level of activity.

do not panic!have some exercise..cycling or jogging in the evening is a good example..
