First of all.... sorry to know that ur leg is fractured.
I think you are smart girl and u can easily come out of this problem soon, dont worry!
mm....... what to do when u can not move around, since ur legs are bandaged?
Ok...u can try the following....
Everyday in the night, before going to bed, prepare a list of activities that u can do tomorrow! like...
A) Morning time
Get up at a particular time, everyday, convenient to u and ur mom. With her help, finish off all ur morning activities including breakfast.
Take out your school books, note books and read whatever has been taught in the class. Suppose u r having 4 classes before lunch, read the respective books, workout maths etc, according to your timetable.
B) Lunch time : ofcourse, it is time to have lunch.... enjoy the lunch with mom. Ask her to tell some interesting stories if she has time to tell you.
C)After Lunch:
As per time table, again start studying the subjects as per the time table.
D) Evening time: oh..... it is time to play no! but u cannot do so for some time....so, u can watch TV or u can help ur mom in cutting vegetables, etc., for dinner. Or u can play carrom or anything which u can do at home, but keep urself busy.
Now, the important thing:
Request your best friend staying near to you to come and give her note books. Or u may request your mom or sisters to get it from them. Then, u copy all the class works in your note book. Find out what lessons are taught in the class today and note down.
Ok., the above information will be useful for u to plan the next day, right! Thats it!
So, copy the notes and return them on the same day to ur friend. By the time u finish this, it will be 8 or 9 clock in the night.
Now, have dinner, enjoy the time with ur siblings and parents.
Now, finally, u have to plan for the next day activities and after that go to sleep.
Then, the next day.......what to do? repeat the activities from A) Morning time.......
Days will fly like hours and you will be completely ready with ur legs to run and studies up to date! no!
wish u speedy recovery Shyma!

i know hw it feels.
bcz i had a fracture too and underwent a major surgery and ws in bed for almost 3 months.
know wht! after the 5th post op day i really got fed up staying in bed all the time and started using my computer chair as a substitute fr a wheel chair and started moving around my home on tht!
my leg in tht heavy plaster cast and taking care nt to move it or put any weight on tht i used to sit in my wheel chair and move around in my home and it was absolutely comfrtbale moving around tht way.
later gt a wheel chair too. and started doing work in my kitchen. but added to my illness i had to be alone in my home.my family members were all away in a far off place.
so i used to stay under lock in my house and the key with my nieghbors. and my daily help, my maid servant used to come and do the household chores and go. while i used to finish on my own my cooking etc at leisure.
friendly neighbors used to come and spend some time with me.
thn used to switch on my pc.
i love making files ( presentations) and made a lot of such files bcz i had all the time in the world.
and my good friends used to gv me company on net everyday.they all gave me such supprt that i never had a single dull moment all those 3 months.
i lv music too.used to listen to lot of msuic too and read all those novels i wanted to read and did all the browing i always wsnted to do. there ws no yahoo answers at tht time. if it were there may be i would hv tried tht too. :-)
used to watch some TV too though i am nt much of a TV buff.
my aim was not to doze off for long hours in the noons as i had nuthing to do. as it may keep me awake in the nights. so used to occupy myself with all the above and used to ahve sound sleep in the night and fresh & ready for a very busy day again the next morning! :-)
i am a professional with a very busy schedule and this fracture gave me a sudden unwanted vacation.
but believe me with all those daily programmes i never had any boring moments and time passed in a jiffy! :-)
so i am sure u can do a lot of things too without getting bored.
do all the reading u want to do.. and never had the time to do.
listen to all the music u always wanted to hear...
chat with ur pals.
do browsing of ur subjects of interest/answer or ask on yahoo answers too is a great way to pass time.
and if u r a student catch up on all ur studying which u might have kept pending.
and lastly have cosy short naps whenevr u want to.
wishing u a speedy recovery... :-)

Cats. I know it sounds crazy, but bear with me. Gather up some cats in your neighborhood. Two or three to start with. Kill them (humanely, of course), skin them, and make a nice kitty stew. Once the meat is tender, drain the liquid off using a colander. Pour the liquid into Dixie cups. Put a plastic spoon in each cup and freeze them. Have one a day, like a popsicle. Works every time.
