I don't really believe so. It is a part of the occult arts that is the least definite.

You can not tell someones fortune using tea leaves. I think you can not tell at al, but there are logical consequences of things happening.
I think it works like this. Maybe people can catch up thoughts from others. To make them-self really concentrated they have to shut out all other thoughts. Staring at tea leaves helps. So if you have a special intuition to catch up thoughts and be drawn top logical conclusions, use tea leaves to shut other thoughts out. Become dreamy and do not judge what you feel.
Because it is not exact science and maybe just nonsense, be careful to express only thoughts that show respect and give space to the one who consults you to make good ethical choices. The asker will try to lay the responsibility on you: do not accept that. Help people to make choices, do not make choices for them.

Its very simple and accurate, you see symbols and interpret them. I have been reading the tea leaves for over 30 years now.

Along with tarot cards, crystal balls, scrying, runes etc, tea leaves are simply a vehicle for someone to focus on what they are picking up about you.

By guessing using vague descriptions of the possible future events and not being specific and telling him/her that your prediction can be changed by the will of god.

you can't, they are exploiting people and use body language and other info to give vague predictions.
ie. a 45yr old woman, you will loose a relative soon. everyone at that age will be loose family at some stage etc...
