Global warming is real.

BUT

we live in a climate of fear instilled by governments to keep the people in line. Fear that allows them to remove our freedoms in the name of saving those freedoms. As Pearl Harbour and 911 were and are used to frighten the population of the planet, so will the fear of global warming be used against us.

Governments will take advantage. Nothing happens on this planet for nothing. There is some reason climate change is only now, after decades of warnings, being taken seriously. It will be interesting to see what happens hmm?

I have issues with Gore as well. However, this movie has made a lot of noise and started people thinking. This is a good thing even if it does come from an Illuminati gopher.

Disprove global warming haha. Well the earth naturally goes through temperature changes very slowly and gradually because we do not revolve around the sun in the same circle. But we always revolve around in more of an oval sometimes closer and sometimes farther. It has gotten alot warmer in the industrial age. And has increased very fast ever since the dawn of this new age. The people that try to disprove global warming do it for business reasons nothing more. People think that just because the earth's climate naturally changes that means global warming is false. But no global warming adds to the problem. Think about it like watching a movie it's going to get to the end. But global warming is sitting there pressing fast forward. Now if we can slow the movie back to its original speed it will last longer and be more enjoyable. But I am not a climatologist so I could be a feeble minded idiot. But what’s wrong with cutting down on pollution anyway? It will only result in making the earth a more beautiful place.

I have yet to find anything conclusive. Trend curves run on the average temperatures in the US for the last 112 years do show an increase, and the increase appears to be accelerating. The exponential curve indicates a 0.22% increase in absolute temperature every hundred years. I applied the most alarming of these trend curves to the maximum temperature recorded at the South Pole, and the result was that the South Pole would reach 32°F, and the ice there start melting in about 435 years. This requires an immediate disclaimer that I'm extrapolating from insufficient data.

I DID watch Mr. Gore's "documentary", and found it to be full of hyperbole and emotional appeals, as well as the usual caustic remarks and suggestions that anyone not in agreement is uneducated or obstinate, or both, and morally deficient.

Global warming proponents point to the Planet Venus with its extremely high temperature of 462°C and CO2 atmosphere as proof that the increasing CO2 in our atmosphere is causing a disastrous increase in temperature. The neglect to consider that the atmosphere of Venus has a CO2 concentration of 965,000 ppm as opposed to our current level of 381 ppm.

Yes, the CO2 concentration measured by an observatory on the slope of an active volcano have a trend showing an increase of 0.40% per year. Where's the link between that and an 0.02% annual temperature increase?
I've had no luck finding aggregate usages of fossil fuels so far.

I am really wondering why you ask that. Global warming is a fact and all you need to do is look around you. You don't even need to watch a movie about that or visit the Antarctic.
Just look around!!!
I live in a city where there was snow from November till March. Now there is no snow and it is February! It snowed just once this year and the snow melted on the same day. This has never happened before in the past. It gets warmer every year with high temperatures that has never been faced where I live.
And that same situation is being seen all over the world. So you don't need any other proof - just look around!

i can sympathise with you on that one! I heard people making similar comments and had to chew through tongue highly troublesome on the time. international Warming will be suggested for days on end; achieving no decisive end. My beliefs; - the international is a gentle position. - It has taken 6 billion (there abouts) years to achieve the position we are now. - The climate is (or grow to be at the moment) more beneficial solid than it has ever been. - the way people (as a species) live, is amazingly slowly and quite replacing this finely balanced equation. - different species and vegetation are not any further expendable. - The Earth's actual resources are not infinite, we can run out. - Nature mothered us into what we are and we are really giving her the finger. we will not in any respect out smart nature besides the undeniable fact that, she will continually come out on correct. basically to placed some attitude into this; have you ever heard of the Toba disaster? properly, it is going to take position again and there are signs and indications it is going to take position quickly. or maybe yellow stone. or per chance 99942 Apophis? There are a pair more beneficial of those in area. you spot how a end can not in any respect be reached? lol

I don't really know, one thing I do know though, is, if the Governments around the world were really serious about reducing green house gasses, they would bring down the price of solar! We got a quote recently to convert our cars to gas and our home to solar, omg we need to win the lottery!. I also think that if it was as bad as they are making our, drastic measures should and would be taken. I have no faith in the media and not much more in Governments, I just do my little bit and try to educate my children to do the same.

Proof is, it is definitely warming up, cause this winter was colder than any we ever had over here.
