2 hours isnt that far away. Anyway, it would be selfish to not let her go.

Wait a moment sir. At least before you consider this problem, how about you go check how EXACTLY the situation is like. Just go and clarify everything you can, if she really fell for another guy, let her go. Her happiness should be your priority if you love her. If she still loves you, and it's only a matter of time because of her stress. Wait it out then. Don't be that worried and just try to help her out on all the work she has. Don't be forceful on activities and adjust to her schedule. Just remember to get a clear and precise answer/information where ever you get it from. Wish you luck bro.

No I wouldn't. You can't base your life off a girl friend, you gotta live your life. Long distance relationships usually never work and they have a way of letting themselves fall apart. Plus you can't spend actual time with her. Talking on the phone can only do so much.
Many people gotta break up when they got to college, it is just the reality of life.

It sounds like he's leading you on. The truth is, if you move away for that long, you usually don't get back together. Even my friendships with my best friend from high school changed after he moved away to college. It's time to let him go and move on. You have different lives now.

Yeah I would let her go, because long distance relationships are too difficult. There is too much temptation out there.
He did you a favor. Obviously, he didn't want to cheat on you while you were away. You should thank him.

i'm gonna go through the same situation. personally, i'd hate for her to leave for 4 years and it's gonna be about 2 hours away from me too. i couldn't hold on because it'd be false hope. if he loves you, maybe he would. i love mine but i couldn't do it. it's bad enough as it is with how things are between my g/f and i right now. her/him leaving is just another way of saying bye forever.

He's a smart guy. He's right. If you two are meant to be, you'll get back together later. Enjoy college and don't worry about him.

If I were 18-19, no.
Now that I'm older, and I know how long-term relationships go, yes.

no way! i mean, it is important for you to enjoy your years in college without being tied down but there is no way i could tell that to a girl that i love.
if you guys are growing apart then i would suggest forgetting about him.

I will say this once, and if you do not listen it is your fault when you get your heart broken.
LONG DISTANCE NEVER WORKS.
Start moving on now, and save yourself the future tears.
