I'm in love with a married man...He is 13 years my senior and is the perfect personality for me, Gorgeous looks too.....It's been seven months and I get the usual, I'm leaving soon.......things have progressed with his wife moving towards seperation but I am wondering if I'm just being a fool thinking it's going to happen....you hear all these stories of women waiting and men never leaving.....He's worth the wait if he really does leave...and I do beleive him.....just have occasional little doubts.

I've not slept with him and wont do so till he has left his wife...these things are painful enough I don't want to cause her any more hurt than necessary.

This man has me hooked.......I've been single 5 years and he is the first man I have found that really sparks that feeling in me...
Am I fooling myself? Do they leave?

no wonder you are so attached..you're not getting out there,....I would die if I was single for 5 years..I mean I love the freedom, but that is so long....
You need to forget him for awhile and give him space to think about him and his wife and you need to move on...stay in touch...but be smart about it....good luck

Yes you're being a fool, they're always perfect for you when you're not dealing with dishes and kids and a mortgage. They never leave!!

WHY would you waste your time waiting, if he was really worth your wait, he would be someone who is single and available, but fate did not make it so.

Plus, how do you think his wife would feel about you?? You said 'cause her anymore hurt than necessary'?? What if she was you? What is 'necessary'?

When you can honestly assess how you would feel if you DID get this man o your dreams, and years down the road discover that he had some chick on the side (regardless if they're sleeping together).... you should assume you're not ready to wait for anybody.

Sorry, to be blunt, but yes you're foolish!! Just dump the Jerk right now. I would personally tell his wife what he's doing, but she probably already knows. The guy is not going to leave anytime soon, and even if he did he would never be faithful to you. If you want more than leftovers, you better to look for another candidate. And please, stay away from Married people, you should have known better!! Just be glad you didn't give it up. I sincerely hope that you listen, because you already know the answer, you just hope that someone talks you out of it. Good Luck!!!

Very tough question and all i can say is that if a guy has another lady in place, he should be willing to leave his current mate relatively fast. I know this sounds crude.

yes you are fooling yourself. But go with the flow as long as it last. The only reason i think this man has you hooked is because he gives you good oral sex.
