im gonna try to check out the bar scene cuz im almost 21 and im curious. are they really all that fun or just a waste of money?

I did the bar scene and I'll tell you, it is not fun. Picture a bunch of drunken idiots slobbering all over you, trying to get into your pants. That's basically what it is.
Here's a little FYI for you also. In a recent Sociology class of mine, we had a survey of what guys truly thought of bar girls. 100% of them thought girls who go to bars were slutty. So just keep that in mind.

It's not all that it's cracked up to be.
I hate the bar scene...it's so desperate.
Now clubs...where you dance...that's cool.
