the problem is he is not very good looking....and is not the kind of guy i usally go out with. he is honest, straight forward, you never have to guess where you stand with him. he is a Gentleman...my friend have now met him but they will say he is not attractive...should i persue this relationship or let it go?

Hmmmm... Do what my friends say, or do what I think is right? You better get yourself straightened out! If you live your life by letting friends think for you, you are a lost case. Time to grow up. I also wonder about these friends if they wouldn't support your decision whatever it is. Maybe you should do the guy a favour and let him find someone a bit more mature.

If he makes you smile , if he respects you and treats you right then why not see where things can go? Remember its not your friends who will be dating him, its you. As long as youre happy , it shouldnt matter what other people think. and thats just being real with you. Looks are not always everything, and remember looks only get you so far, its all about the heart and how smart you really are, and how much of a strong believer you are. I say , take a chance and ignore what your friends say, you could be passing by one of the best things that could ever happen to you .

Who cares what people say..Do you think you can put your care of this aside and not let this guy down? Do not let him feel for you only to have you change your mind. My boyfriend is hot. Hella hot. He stopped shaving when we met and got a good job as mechanic. He has black hands &nails, a long beard and long hair now. When people see him for the first time, They dont see the man I fell in love with. This includes my family from out of town. They feel free to tell me how much better I could do despite my feelings. Looks fade and trite as it sounds, love is forever.

u should probably let it go. he sounds like a nice guy who could get his heart broken by a reasonable girl who doesnt have any attraction for him. Unless of course u happen to be one of those rare people who dont value the looks of a mate. Im guessing u are not so i wouldnt lead him on

Looks arent everything, its not your friends who's going to be dating him, its you. If you ever were to get into something big, just remember in the future if someone looks good does that mean they can provide you with what you need.
