C-14 testing has been invalidated a decade ago as well as the sample used proven to be a Middle Age darning patch over the Shroud, Time to leave the Middle Ages of science and move on.

Are those who say the Shroud is a fraud have evidence to back it up ? Poor scientific enquiry using C-14 testing has been debunked a decade ago.

The image on the shroud has not yet been explained. Plus we are in 2007 with better science than the poor science and methods used a quarter century ago that some here quote.

Since the Church hides many of these items due to fear of theft. We can never say for sure. But they have shown us the Shroud of Turin (not a loin cloth), and besides the very Book, the Bible, it is a clear piece of the power of the Lord.

For even modern science today still is baffled on how the image is there. For only the power of God and a resurrection could create such an image.

I believe cause I lived my life not believing. And I used the Shroud of Turin as my main debunker. Then God woke me up one day and even put himself on film for me. Not the Jesus you see in pictures and paintings....but the exact same image that you see on the Shroud of Turin.

Plus the image on the Shroud of Turin matches the description of Jesus in Revelations.

I love all the ignorant fools that claim its fake, show me where it states that an I'll pay you money. And if you say " I saw it on TV " then sit back cause I need room to laugh.

I am sure it is the most famous, but by no means the most significant. As for carbon dating lending or adding any proof to it's authenticity, forget it. I have seen a piece of petrified wood taken from a logged off stump on a power-line cut dated at well over 3,000,000 with this technique. Two lines had broken during a storm an the live ends had both fallen near a water logged stump. within three days it had become petrified. The scientists that dated it were amazed when the person who found it, told them that itcame from just over the state line. No tree of this type and age had ever been found before. It was the discovery of the year! . . . . Untill he showed them the stump from which he had taken it. You never read about THAT in the news, did you?

Yes it's pretty famous, and there has been new studies that show that it might not be fake us the two above say of it. There are other relics but the "true cross" the holy stairs and much more but the shroud of turin is the most popular.

It seems to be the most famous one. Apparently, the Shroud of Turin contains bloodstains (believed to be that of Jesus). I had read an article a couple of years ago, which was about Scientists wanting to use the blood on the shroud to clone Jesus.

There are no such relics. The shroud to which you refer, called the Shroud of Turin, is a fraud, created more than a thousand years after Christ.

The Fraud Of Turin was commissioned by a catholic cardinal in the 14th century. There are historical documents that prove someone paid to have it made less than 700 years ago, and all scientific evidence agrees with that dating.

Only the gullible and the wilfully ignorant believe otherwise.
