so i have liked this guy for quite a long time, && he's like me for a long time also. everyone's always wondering "why aren't you 2 going out? why aren't you boyfriend/girlfriend?" && i can just never answer them because i honestly don't know. i know that he wants to be my boyfriend, but he's not very good at asking, && it would be strange if i were to ask him. how do i make it easier for him to ask me out?

If he's shy, but you know he likes you then you should take the initiative just to start off. He should open up more and you'll both be glad you did it.

Make it clear to him that you like him that way. Be very direct. Guys don't always read between the lines well. "I would like to be your girl" is direct. Give him some time to process that information (days). Then ask if he wants to study together or come over and watch a DVD with your family etc... If his answer is no it could just be timing so just be direct and ask him if you should make another invitation later.

It would not be strange for you to ask him, and since hes shy that gives you all the more reason! Besides, most guys find it attractive when a woman asks them out. good luck :)

If he dose not ask you then you got to ask him because if you both do not ask then how will you get together? If you like him and you know that he likes you then just ask so you can be with him! The longer you do not ask then the longer you are not with him!

my girlfriend and i were the same way :D
so once when we were together, before being "boyfriend and girlfriend" she pulled it out of me by asking me if i liked anyone. i was quick to say her and i asked her the same question, she said me.
maybe you should try an approach like that, just subtly (but yet not so subtly) pull it out of him.
