I have got to have a root canal done again because it hurts after just 2 months. I have had various antibiotics and its still hurting when I have anything hot or go outside in the cold air.
What will happen when I go to the dentist? I know it took 2 sessions last time. What will they do in the first appointment?

It's hard to really know. If it is a back tooth, they might just have to locate an additional canal that was not detected the first time. MANY teeth have an "extra" canal, even though we know what the usual numbers are. If your tooth feels cold after just 2 months, I'd suspect that this is the problem. The appointment will probably be pretty much the same as it was for the first visit when you started the root canal.

THIS EXTRA CANAL IS THE SECOND MESIO-BUCCAL CANAL.SOMETIMES IT'S MISSED. IT IS OFTEN FOUND IN THE FIRST MOLAR. THIS CANALMUST BE FOUND FILLED SO THE PAIN WILL STOP. THIS APPOINTMENT MAY TAKE SHORTER THAN LAST TIME SINCE THE OTHER 3 CANALS WERE ALREADY FILLED.

you are not right.now a days single sitting root canal treatment has become the choice of so many Endodontist.i dont know how a root canal treated tooth cause you pain or how your dentist performed that?
