Here's the link to my question that she never answered apparently because she was upset and wanted to maliciously attack me without being exposed.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AizGkqoEYE04911Gv_vxekDsy6IX?qid=20070217212807AAB6Ieh
I'm not one to attack back so I'm not even going to respond to her email, it's not worth my time but I will expose her and hopefully she will learn.

That's pretty sad. But it just goes to show: christians can be hypocrites too. Wonder if she is embarrassed now?

No honest Christian would respond in this manner. On behalf of all Christians I sincerely apologize to you for this vulgar response. I am not sure what your original question was (can you post a link?), but the response is uncalled for.
It is interesting and sad to see what young people will do when hiding behind the anonymity of the computer. As an "old guy" I have acted irresponsibly at times, so I can relate up to a point. But I also know most of the persons who post flippant, vulgar, and baiting responses would be ashamed if they knew their parents learned of what they write herein. They do their parents a disservice and dishonor them with such nonsense.
Unfortunately, the answers one sees in this forum represent a triumph of flippancy over rigor. These flippant persons that answer tend to have not formally studied the issues being asked for several years; rather they enjoy mocking or proving that they really have no value to add to the answer.
Yet virtually every unmoderated forum on the internet dealing with religious topics is full of unlearned agitaors. (Which is why I moderate an advanced theology forum on the internet to filter out the nonsense.)
Sadly, the questions are sometimes poorly formed or are laden with underlying bias that tells the reader that no cogent and rigorous answer will satisfy the asker.
In addition to many non-Christian responses, I am frequently embarrassed by other Christians' answers. I feel a sense of dismay over the obvious lack of deeper learning that is evident by many of the responses. Most seem to want to just fire off whatever pops into their heads, streams of consciousness, etc., with no evidence of reasoned arguments and synthesis of the issues. Some of the questions are often shallow or just asked for point building or something.
Unfortunately, many very good Christians have not spent enough time trying to learn and understand the theologies of the faith. Many also lack formal training in biblical hermeneutics, so they may misunderstand the full meanings of the texts they frequently quote.
I am not advocating that everyone get degrees in theology, only that they spend some time studying materials outside the scriptures so that their faith will be solidly grounded.
Just keep asking questions in an objective manner and you will sometimes get useful responses. I try to answer questions so structured with reasoned and rigorous responses.

Don't respond directly to the godbot, the cowardly christians won't listen or read it.
A better solution is what you've inadvertantly done: display her hate and hypocrisy publicly. Don't spam it everywhere, but make her idiocy well known; nothing will embarass that moron more than the fact of her own words.
Additional:
"No honest Christian would respond in this manner"? Which better describes that speaker, ignorant or wilfully dishonest.
Next out of his mouth: "The Nazis and the KKK aren't christians!"

Just because one claims to be a christian does not mean they really are a "christian". do not group all by the ignorance of the few.
Some think being christian is a reason to be high and mighty, to be above other races and other of the same. They are mislead by ignorance and corrupt churches.
Bible clearly states that some churches are corrupt and many will follow false prophets.

Wow, this is so wrong I don't even know where to start! I"m not even Christian and this is offensive to me. Sounds like Julie B is a knuckle-dragger of the worst kind. Laugh her off and go be fabulous, Rocker Chick. This tacky know-nothing doesn't deserve our time.

No one is perfect are they ? although some call themselves Christian and that is the only Christian thing about them. We are not supposed to judge other people, BUT judging other's actions- so you know whether or not it is ok to repeat, I think that is ok and necessary.
Hopefully we can all be better examples than that. Maybe she was having a bad day ? I'm sure you've already forgiven her though, right ?

Sorry to say (assuming you are not making this up for your own laughs).., this person is not Christian... or at least not in the real sense of the word.
Jesus never addressed anyone with curse words, neither did the Apostles and they are our examples to live by. I guess I could call myself an Archaeologist, but that hardly qualifies me as one simply because I make that claim. See what I mean.
A Christian can get angry - but the Bible says not to sin in the process of being angry... as in.., no hitting, cursing or using vengeance of any nature.
This person who allegedly said what you said she said (if she really said it) was just posing or having some kind of mental issues. Maybe even both.

I doubt the person who made these comments is really a Christian. I suspect this person is only pretending to be a Christian.
We Christians are already pretty good at hypocrisy; we don't need help from people who write that kind of garbage as a way to discredit Christ.
It's not Jesus' fault that so many of us who claim to know Him don't always behave the way He would behave. It's ours.
I'm sorry you had to be the target of that junk, and I ask you to please forgive us if you can.
Please don't let our bad behavior prevent you from knowing Jesus, and walking in His love.

Wow... To think there are times that I get a bit irked at someone and think of sending them a note (not even half as bad), but I don't do it because I don't want to seem that rude or mean... Guess I'm not being a good heathen...

Too bad anonymous users can't pose as Christians, atheists, Muslims, etc. in order to further demonize those groups. Nope, this has to be from an authentic Christian.
