There is no heaven. This is all there is. But suicide is final. There is no coming back. There is no second chance. You said "if he kills himself" - if this is an hypothetical question - do all you can to prevent this suicide. Living is better - no matter what!!!

suicide is an unforgivable sin. murder is another, since only God can give or take life. I would say most likely No, but nothing is impossible with God. Maybe this person did so much good, that is greatly outweighs even something as bad as suicide.
Dr. Phil said it best- sucide is not an option - to weigh down everyone who has ever known you with the burden that you killed yourself. It is a coward's way out.
Moses is listed as being a saved person, yet he did murder a man who was trying to murder an Israelite. SO, nothing is impossible with God. But I wouldn't bet on it. Remember, Moses gave up the Egyptian Royal kingdom, he saved all of the Israelites by taking them into the promised Land, leading them out of Egpt, etc. He did many great things for God.
And, incidentally, no one goes to 'heaven'. Heaven is right here, on Earth. Read your Bible, you'll discover this. The earth is renewed in the End.

Since those who go to heaven are only the ones who will rule over the rest of mankind with Jesus Christ, God would not choose a suicide victim because they obviously were not even able to control their own life. All is not lost, however, because the resurrection to earth will include both righteous and unrighteous. The big question is, could the person have chosen differently or did he truly stop caring about anyone but himself. God will know the answer to that question but I certainly don't.

Tao: As a Christian, I would say that the person, who committed suicide would not be in a "hell" nor would he be in heaven either.
That person would be dead within the grave with the billions of others , who ever lived and died. He will be awaiting in his state of sleep [death] for the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. At his time and turn, the person would be resurrected from the grave into life as a whole person, then given a chance to live in a more ideal setting with Jesus at the helm. In the end - we ALL WIN !!!

I assume you're referring to Christianity, Islam, and/or Judaism, as you've referred to 'Heaven'. My answer, though, is based only on my knowledge of Christianity.
This is a very difficult question to answer, because it's a significant and complicated issue in the Christian religion. Based on my personal interpretation of the Bible, I think that someone who committed suicide could enter Heaven, because God is forgiving and merciful. In my opinion, that is the foremost idea presented in the Bible -- a text that is, almost inarguably, flawed in other ways. Some people would disagree based on their interpretation, but that is my understanding.
I sincerely hope that you're not contemplating suicide, but if you are, there's nothing I can do but offer you my prayers and urge you to consider speaking to someone. If you've lost someone to suicide, then I offer you deepest sympathies.

That's between him & God. No person can give you that answer because honestly, none of us know for sure. I'd like to think God goes on a case by case basis. If someone resorts to suicide, they're obviously in alot of pain and saw no other way out. I don't think God would punish them further if they just could handle life anymore. That's just my opinion though, I have no idea how God really feels about things.

Hell awaits you if you take your life. Is it worth the risk to find out?No it is not. Because once you are in hell, you cannot get out again, God will make sure of that. The only time you will get out is on judgement day when you will stand condemed under the great white throne of Jesus, and then you will bound hand and foot and cast into the lake of fire. It is not worth it mate. Hang in there and trust Jesus.

I went through this several years ago when someone I knew killed himself. I struggled, wondering where he was. I talked to my mom about it and she brought me comfort. She said, God is a just and merciful judge. He judges us according to what we know. If someone kills himself, he is probably not in his right mind. God knows his thoughts and what he was feeling. God knows where his mind was at the time he decided to take his life. This helped me out alot. Hope it helps you. Sorry for your loss. What's important is where you are with God. You have to accept him as your savior and ask forgiveness for your sins. If he did this, then, I believe he could go to heaven.

In my point of view, killing yourself for just a thing is not a courageous act at all. First of all we should be audacious enough to face each and every ordeal in our lives. And we should not even think of giving away our life which is a very special gift of god. And if you disrespect God's gift then you can't go to his abode i.e. heaven...........

Yes, but I would think that would be God's decision, not ours. The only requirement is to be born again. How you live your life is secondary, because it's understood that your life will continually improve and heal with God's help.
