I choose the best answer if its funny, imformative, or even insulting. It doesn't have to be someone that necessarily shares my views.

I have given so many off-the-wall answers that I don't know where to start.

I was basically told my answer was picked because it sucked less than the other entries. That's like owning the best Edsel on the block ; )

That's hilarious! I must admit that, too often, I have so many questions open that I try to resolve them quickly by just picking the first answer that agrees with what I think, or the first answer from an R&S buddy. I've been trying to stop doing that, and have been being sure to give more best answers to people I don't neccessarily agree with, lately. As for your other questions, I couldn't possibly remember. Sorry :-(

I never choose 2-5 word answers, usually the best are near the bottom of the list.

I usually use eenie meenie miney moe.

Ok...it depends on my question. Most of my questions are silly...so the answer that makes me laugh the hardest wins.

I just asked a very serious question....for this one the most well reasoned answer...that makes me think...will win.

I gave a very homophobic question and very anti-homophobic answer.......and the homophobe gave me best answer.....

His rationalle was that God hated me enough...he wanted to make me happy.

I was amused.

I don't answer questions to get a best answer. it isn't a competition to me. I don't care. I answer at least 2/3rds of questions where I disagree with...or even attack...the questioner.

More of my dumb answers get picked than my "profound" ones.
