Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

If you have some lemon, put it in warm water and drink it. You could also try gargling some warm salt water. If your parents are awake and you have some chloroseptic in the house, take a couple sprays of that. Don't go to sleep with a cough drop in your mouth!

to boot the undemanding sore throat treatment that anybody knows, Gargle with salt water, there are some others. attempt warmth liquid, I want fairly salty fowl broth. yet tea helps. Zinc losengers are my fave. I actually have also used HALLS mint more beneficial strenth cough drops, for a chilled low priced effect.

What have you got in the cupboard? I like a tea with honey and lemon. Decaf at 2:am....out of tea? Gargle with warm water and salt. It's old fashioned and it works for most. See your doc ASAP in case you are contagious. Hey...where is your mom this morning?

You can try some Vicks Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray. It works pretty good, but it doesn't last very long...unfortunately.

Drink juice or water - hydrating yourself will help. If you have any Robotussin or Dimetapp, I would recommend taking a tablespoon of that as well. Hope you feel better.
