start doing some serious research on the internet. call the vet in the morning anyway, if there are animals being kept there for treatment, some one will have to take care of them. if there is no one there and there is an answering machine LEAVE A MESSAGE (with your #) maybe if the vet comes he/she can squeeze you into their schedule. also check to see if her gums and eyelids are normal color. check for injured bones. do a head to toe analysis of her and write down or keep in mind any thing you may find unusual. check her in the middle of the night to see how shes doing. i hope shes ok, good luck...

This could be nothing, but also could be very serious. Don't give the dog any more vitamins. EVER! Proper diet should be sufficient. No labored breathing is a good thing, the tiredness or fatigue is another matter... this could be anything from a worm infestation to insufficient nutrition, possibly a defect like a diabetic condition.
Get the pup medical attention ASAP. At least try to get a Vet on the phone if it is all that you can do.
And others are correct, this puppy is really to young to have been taken from its mother and litter-mates.
Good luck, to you and the puppy!

There is always an emergency vet, so saying that the vet is not open is not an excuse. Even if you have to drive a few hours to get to an emergency vet, you need to take this pup in! She is probably seizing from low blood sugar. Get some glucose in this pup now! Even if you have something like Karo syrup, put some of that in her mouth to try to get the blood sugar up. What kind of dog vitamins do you think would make her sleep? She will be dead in you don't take her in and get her treated. She could have a whole list of things that could be going on including Parvo. Take her to an ER vet and get the pup treated! If you had a baby that was doing this, wouldn't you take it to an ER? You are letting this pup suffer.

This is what happened 3 weeks ago to my dads baby Yorkie. ^weeks is very young to have pup away from mother to begin with. You know thiey should be with there mums for at the very minimum 8 weeks. Anyway almost ALL puppies have worms. They have to have there worm treatments. We got "KOBE" from a lady that breeds yorkies. Well he slept sooooo much I mean he would only play for a tiny bit and be sleepy. Plus when I would hold him he would just fall asleep in my hands. Not much energy for a puppy I thought. So my he pooped in our house. My daughter came running into the kitchen and said "Kobe's Poop has worms in it" and sure enough he did. They looked like little pieces of rice. SO we took him to the vet the following day with a stool sample. They found 3 different worms in him. The worms take all the nutrients from the puppy. They are passed from the mothers breast milk and also very contagious some of them cuz they walk around smelling all the other dogs doody. SO he was on two different antibiotics for 2 weeks and let me just say after the first two days it was like having a different puppy. All kinds of energy. Some vets have vets on call. If you call there answering machine even though they are closed you still get a reccomendation as to where you can take your pet if they are not open. Your puppy could have many things though and to be truthful all you can do if you can't get hold of a vet tonight is make her as comfortable as possible and go first thing in the morning. Good luck with you little girl, I know how hard it is, I have been going through a lot with my 9 year old mini pincher. We are at around 1500.00 in just the last two months in vet bills. She got pnuemonia and got diagnosed with cushings disease. I talked the vet into letting me make payments thank goodness, However I am not saying that to scare you just that I can relate. FOr us dogs are like family. Good luck to you

First of all, whatever breeder you got her from should have never let her go this early. 8 wks minimum! It's the law in some states.
Second of all, vitamins won't make a dog sleepy.
Call the breeder you got her from a.s.a.p. You've got a sick pup on your hands. If you have other animals, I would advise that you quarantine this little one away from them.
I don't know where you are located, but there are Emergency Clinics that are available after hours and weekends. There are also Puppy Lemon Laws.... just type it in your browser and look for your state.
Good luck!

hi give her some luke warm water with a natural sugar best be honey, or watered down milk,
1. get her to a vet, to be sure
i breed dogs and i get this call alot saying my new puppy is sick, and i tell them to go to the vet, but 90 percent of the time the pup is worn out and exhausted, because of the new enviroment and new family to play with , and less nap times and it can make them sick, i hope this is all thats wrong. wrong with rest and tlc will fix.
because she is so young she still needs her mothers milk to line her stomach, so she does not pick up and bugs,(colds illness)
so for the next two weeks i recommend giving her that protective lining, replace the mothers milk with natural greek yoghurt, or natural youghurt high in fat and, plain] just to help her through the next few weeks.
good luck i would get her to a vet she is far too young for vitamins.
best of luck.

I would highly suggest contacting an emergency vet- with a puppy so young there is no guarantee as to what is going on. Instead of asking for guesses here it's better to ask a professional. Her lethargy and apparent tenderness could be nothing- or they could be life-threatening.

Give your dog a lot of food and water so if it is the vitamins they will pass through her system that much faster. Try to get your puppy to the vet as soon as you can.
i hope your puppy feels better soon.

Your baby has worms. First thing in the morning go to Pet Smart and buy D-Worm(that is the brand name) Vitamins make puppies very healthy, not sleepy. If she starts vomiting go get some Pedilyte and keep her hydrated. Make sure you are giving her the right dose of everything(its usually on the package.) And she is going to be very sleepy until she is well. If you h ave to use the Pedilyte and she won't drink it on her own, you have to try and make her. A baby syringe(what you use to give babies liquid medicine with) works just fine.
