I am a virgin in my early 20's. I have been dating a guy now for a few months. We are both aware a relationship will not develope. For the most part, cause he doesn't want one. I want to have sex, he wants to have sex. I don't want my virginity to be a big deal and I don't expect magic to come out of it. I think it would be great for a physical release, but I'm afraid. I get so nervous when the opportunity comes up and I'm self conscious about my body. What do you guys think?

If it is something you want then go for it.

If I were you, I'd save myself for a guy that does want a relationship. Why would you give such a special gift to a guy that's obviously told you the relationship is going nowhere? You're going to remember your first time for the rest of your life, and you don't want to cringe when you think about it. But hey, in the end the only person that can decide what is right for you is you. Think hard on this one.

You might not want to give yourself to this individual.. You two have already come to the conclusion that a relationship will not form. Why reward him with your virginity? At least meet someone that makes you feel special with a possibility of having a relationship.

Can't imagine that old and still a virgin, I'm 17 and had my first at just over 13... why the wait? Guess I never considered virginity to be some precious thing to be guarded, just a condition we are all born with but we can get over it! I guess if you think the time is finally right, go for it.

Go crazy.

Your only in your twentys for 10 years. Now's as good of a time as any and WHO KNOWs. this could be life changing. You may get completely over your self consciousness and BAM find the man who thinks your perfection.

Plus. since this man your dating now already told you he doesnt want a relationship- you know you dont need to expect anything after. do the deed and move on! use him as practice.

GOOOOD LUCK!

Given the general level of intelligence on this forum, I wouldn't let Yahoo Answers decide this for you.

That said, if a relationship won't develop with this guy, maybe you shouldn't waste your time with him, physical or otherwise.

first of all you only been dating this guy for a couple of months
and he made it clear that he does not want one. so why do
you feel so self conscious, but just for me. i think that it is
should be a big deal. that the problem it not a big deal any
more. but if you want this to happen then let him know and
go for it.

From what I've heard, many women regret losing their virginity with the wrong guy. I don't know though, up to you.

I think you should have sex with someone that loves you and you love him. Don't have sex with this boy just to be having sex. You'll regret that later on.
