I had one night stand with a guy I met at a seminar.. I admit i was very weak that night and get so caught up in the moment that I wasnt able to say NO,, I have a terrific bf whom i love very much and now im scared he might found out .. i cant bear the thought of losing my bf, I really regret what i did and feel sick every time I remember betraying him . How can i get rid of the guilt and move on? I dont feel the need to confess because I swear I wont do it again.But i dont know if covering uo what i did is the right thing to do.

its clear u dont want to tell ur bf, so lets see how realistic this wish is.. 2 factors to consider are 1. what are the chances he might found out? does anyone else know other than u and the guy u did it with? 2. what will it cost u (including frayed nerves , never seeing the other guy again and having a room in ur heart - and - mind that u cant let ur bf enter... ) you might ask urself why u had an affair at this particular time in ur relationship. If u dont usually ...have affairs. what made u do it then? was there anything in ur relationship with ur bf that contributed to being unfaithful ? answers to both questions are important and if u find u can share neither with ur bf, perhaps u should ask if this relationship is worth keeping

Tell him. Yes you may lose him but this is going to eat and eat at your conscience 'til you can't stand it. Being honest is the only way to get rid of the guilt. I know you say that you can't stand the thought of losing him but you should have thought about losing him as a way of deterring you from cheating... now the damage is done and you should be prepared to deal with the consequences. Perhaps he will be understanding, and this is much more likely if you are honest and tell him yourself now, rather than him finding out by some other means in the future. Good luck.

Tell him. I know it's hard to do, and he might hate you. But just imagine that life of guilt if he never found out! Obviously you have no desire to cheat on him again, and it was a big mistake, so tell him. I really hope you guys can work it out.

Guilt is a destructive thing. Despite what you might hear there are times to just keep you mouth shut. This is not as though you are married to this guy, or going to be. Just keep it under your hat and let it be a lesson well deserved.

you want absolution?? talk to a priest otherwise accept that you feel guilty because you should you did a horrible thing.... and your question should be "what can I do to repent?" you are still only thinking about yourself "how can I feel better?" is that really your question??? if you are not lying about this being the first time I am almost certain you will do it again

You confront your man. You had the balls to cheat, you'll have the balls to let him know. And maybe he will forgive you. But as along as you keep it away from him, results will get more complicated than it is. Good Luck!

keep it to yourself sweetheart,it was just sex,nothing else and it won't happen again so move on like it never happend,you have to see it as what it is a one night stand,you love is in your bf,and don't do it again
