I am a Christian. If evil never dies and Jesus promises eternal life for those who believe in him, does that mean that Jesus gave us the ticket to be evil and enjoy it only having to pay for it in purgatory? Some rather powerful people in my country are thinking of destroying Christianity because they think it is evil. If you have to be evil to stay in power, what does that say about the Christian world dominating this world we live in? Still, I can not deny the power of Christ in my life resisting evil, but I also see their viewpoint when I am unable to go to church and receive the holy communion. If the supreme being hardwired us to sometimes be evil to survive and distribute resources equitably when we are hard-pressed, does that mean that Jesus and the church had it right when it says that we are all sinners and Jesus shall save us from the fires of hell? Does that mean that we can still be ourselves and go to heaven being a Christian as opposed to being ourselves and going to hell

The Lord never hardwired us to be evil! We cannot continue to be "ouselves" and go to heaven. Read in Matthew when Jesus was talking to Nicodemus and telling him that you must be born again. Once Jesus lives in our hearts by our asking, we become born again, a new creation. We get rid of our old Adamic nature and are reborn into Christ's image. You can't go on and willingly sin thinking just because you believe in the Lord, that is ok. Remember, even satan believes and shudders. If you do sin, you must ask for forgiveness. The Lord strengthens you as you grow in Christ. The Lord knows our hearts. So, yes we are all born with sin, are sinners and deserve to die eternally, but thru the Grace of God, thru His Son, we can have life with the Lord forever!!

No. Jesus said not everybody who calls him Lord will enter the kingdom of God, but he who dose the will of his Father in Heaven. If you continue to sin willfully thinking God will forgive you, you are wrong. The word said "Without Holiness nobody will see the Lord" So you cannot live a double life and still go to Heaven. If you go th church, and then life like a drunk the next, hell awaits you. Read Revelations where it says Jesus was saying what kind of people will not enter Heaven. You make a choise, this world of the kingdom of God, you cannot have both.

Your question is all over the place. I'm guessing you're Catholic because you refered to purgatory & communion. Evil is a choice. Just because it's there, it doesn't mean you have to choose it. You're bound to make mistakes and sin, that is what Jesus was talking about. You can't be evil your entire life and then repent on your deathbed. That's not how it works. God knows your heart and knows if you're just trying to be forgiven because you don't want to go to hell. God wants real love & belief, not someone who is forced into it because of fear. He never has worked that way. Be yourself and make the best choices you can in life. Quit worrying about world leaders and worry about your own actions. It's really up to God who goes to heaven so asking another human being is pretty pointless. God knows your heart & your mind. You can't fool Him.

The only ticket to Heaven is through the Blood of Jesus. If you feel there is evil or sin in your life then apply 1 John 1;9. If you are not a Christian simply apply Romans 10;9 and tell Jesus you love Him, whether you feel like it or not.
I Cr 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

BTW, no human being was ever "hardwired" to be evil. We are hardwired with free agency(free will-the will to choose).

I do not know which country you are living in (since there are a few like that), but the question you ask about is what Paul was talking about in the middle part of Romans. (I know you have access to that, since you're online and it is readily available online.)

He says
* that we are all sinners.
* that Jesus paid the death sentence for our spiritual crimes.
* that if you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your morth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved.
* that yes, evil never dies -- You need to struggle against it all your life.
* that the Holy Spirit gives you the ability to win that struggle.

Do not expect that victory to be easy, or immediate, or complete as long as life goes on, but it will be doable, because God's Holy Spirit will make it doable. Paul also said that God has set up things for us in advance to do that are good, and even though He's set these things up for you in advance, He's still going to reward you for doing them.

You mentioned us being hard-pressed. That reminds me of this passage:

2 Corinthians 4:8 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair."

Take courage, brother. God can make life work better for you.

First of all their is no purgatory. We are all born sinful because of Adam and Eve. Why do we have to be evil to be in power? JESUS will save you if you repent of your sins and accept him as your savior, and try living a life free from sin. Have you ever heard of being born again? That means when you repent of your sins, your sins are washed away, the old you dies and the new you is born into the kingdom of GOD when you accept JESUSas your savior. I dont understand why you are unable to go to church and receive HOLY communion.

People who do evil are deluded. If they were aware of the true nature of reality, they would obviously choose the right thing. If you doubt this, observe yourself closely at the times you mess up. Notice your thoughts and intentions at the moment you make the wrong decision. No one messes up on purpose. God sees this every day. Have a little more faith in his intelligence and love. At the last supper, when he handed them the bread and wine and said it was his body and blood, I think he was telling us that he is everywhere, that we breathe, eat and drink God. Think of this entire existance, the whole world as Church, and every action is a prayer. Other people are just as beloved by God as you are, just as much. Help them and God takes it as a personal favor. He told us not to worry about money and power, so let's not. But if you become afraid and doubtful, and you choose the wrong thing, I understand and know God does too. Just observe it all closely, and try to choose to love more fearlessly next time. I need you all with me for it to really be heaven. If any of you are missing, it is not heaven.

christianity isnt evil. ppl are evil and they make ppl believe christianity is evil so they can deny and get rid of God. its the devils work and i dont care what any 1 says. if some 1 tries to get rid of God, the one who created us and every thing else how is that not evil? the devil wants u to think christianity and God is evil so he can rule and create chaos. satan hates God and doesnt want any 1 to follow Him and be saved by Him because God casted satan out of heaven and he wants revenge. that is why God casted satan out in the first place. he tried to take over heaven. if u start believing God and church is evil then the devil prevails and the world will be an even worse place then it already is and every 1 in it will suffer and there will be no end to the suffering. ever.

What you're speaking approximately in God's kingdom isn't people who can not choose for evil or sin. What you're speaking approximately is human beings, a humanity, that has matured adequate and to the element that they won't. because of the fact of this following Jesus is often talked approximately as a exchange. because of the fact that's the technique of turning into of diverse sort of individual. one that may not choose for evil, or sin, even nevertheless one is totally conscious of it. And this variation is made complete only for the time of the spirit of God. and lots an identical way a tree starts as a seed and not an entire grown tree, so could a very mature individual initiate as what you're. the technique of turning into that kind of individual encompasses a chain of judgements. the 1st of that could be the choice to place as much as Jesus.

Certainly not.

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness." Matt 23:27

"No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him." 1st John 3:6

"If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the light" 1st John 1:6

"Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone." 1 Peter 2:16
