Olive Oil is actually a wonderful treatment for your hair. It replaces the natural oils your hair makes and also leaves it with an extreme shine. My thought is for you to try it out with a shower cap on top and then sleep with it in your hair over night. The heat will help opening the pores in ur hair folicles therefore helping your hair absorbe the moisture better. Natural remedies ROCk!

I tried it a few weeks ago. I was expecting shiny, soft, gorgeous hair, but it was not very good. I left it on for 30 min, and washed it out. My hair was a bit greasy, but it was not too bad. I just didn't think that it made my hair softer. It wasn't more moisturizing than a normal conditioner. If you do wanna do it, make sure you use an essential oil (5-15 drops) with it, or you'll smell weird.

I don't know much about the cosmetic industry, but olive oil is a fairly benign substance, compared to the chemicals a lot of companies put in their products. As to whether it will make your hair look a certain way, no clue.

Yes. It helps moisturize and soften my hair. I like it because it is organic and I can leave it in overnight. No problem washing it out with regular shampoo.

Do not put olive oil in your hair!! I just did it last night and it seriously broke out my scalp and hairline.

Yes, to some extent it made my hair less dry. I heard if you use it and steam your hair the effect will be better.
