why cant they be like the guys in the movies?

i know what you mean. but think about it.. those guys that you see in movies being all sweet and passionate to the girl.. they are not REALLY like that in real life.. they are the same way in a real relationship as all the other guys are.. movies are scripted.. hollywood makes movies like that with those guys that seem like they're everything you could want in a man.. you know what i mean.. they're always good looking and they have money, etc.. but that's why they make movies like that.. to get girls dreaming that there is a man out there like that and that someday they could be in a "perfect" love like that.

I myself have wondered this many times lol and what i've come up with is this....If all men were like those in the movies,constantly wooing us with their romantic ways and good looks..we'd get BORED!! i mean the occasional romanticism is great from our guys but for it to be all the time i think most girls would go insane...It's better to fantasize sometimes :) Without the chase,the hurt,we wouldnt grow or learn...the movies have everything just seem to magically fall into place..the real world doesnt work like that

Ha! Betcha there's a load of guys out there wondering the same thing about girls! It has to do with movies and media raising unrealistic expectations I think, also little girls who are raised on "knight in shining armor" stories and then no REAL man can ever measure up to the mental image of Mr. Right. The perfect guy/girl does not exist.

Movies are some sort of illusion.Even all guys you in movie are not like they look like.
Once you be with them will realize that you really don't want to make them even friend forget relationship.Otherwise no guy would have broken relationship more frequently a common man.
Guys are also in search of perfect girls...lol

Because honestly...when guys turn out to be that perfect then it is really that they are incredibly imperfect. I mean really....there is NO SUCH THING as a perfect guy and thus if there was one like the guys in the movies then it would just be weird and uncomfortable.
Besides, there are alot of amazingly wonderful guys out there...you just have to STOP LOOKING FOR THEM. When you look for them, you find only ther jerks and they guys who want to get into your pants. The good guys are usually the quiter kind who know when its the time to act.

For the same reason nothing else is like it is in the movies. Fantasy allows total control of everything while reality is rarely easy and never simple. Instead of worrying yourself with the fantasy, try to find a person in reality that makes you happy. No one is perfect, but people find love in spite of imperfections ever day.

Because this is the real world we live in and not some made up Hollywood movie. Yes it would be nice..........if men were like that in the movies...especially if it was Nicolas Cage......

because that not real life. Not fair to hold guys to that standard. How would you feel if guys asked why you where not like the chicks in movies. here is a hint..its a movie.its fantasy.

Believe me, I totally wish I was even half as smooth as 007. Imagine all the ladies you could have, lol! But yeah. Only George Clooney and Brad Pit are that smooth.
