Last week we were notified officially, we are neighbours to a proposed windfarm of 42-43 turbines.
The road is being done up so it looks like a done deal.
We only have a small block which is not worth much so I am concerned about selling and moving to a regional centre now we are getting older.
We couldn't afford to take out a mortgage at our stage of life which we'll have to do if our property value drops.

there are a few windfarms near me, I have not heard noise even driving by them. I have cable t.v. so maybe it would affect direct t.v. dishes. the only affect I noticed is learning not to stare at them as you drive by and right at first signs were put up that restricted parking by the side of the road so people passing by couldn't get out and look. These are located on I -40 between Clinton and Weatherford.

I was visiting a wind farm in Nova Scotia. I was 5 feet from the tower and there is no noise.
