There are a number of institutions that offer courses in clothing and textiles area in Melbourne such as RMIT Uni, so you may want to start inquiring there.

you could always try to send some applications but there is NO guarantee that you gonna get it. You job also depends on how well your english is and of course on your Visa.

Mate most of clothing factories have been moved to overseas countries...India, Malaya, etc...cheaper labour...try there!
