from my belly button to about my waist my stomacke sticks out a little. will running or cardio flatten it out or should i do more crunches

You have to do cardio to get rid of the fat on your midsection. Crunches alone will tone the muscle a lot but will not get rid of the fat. It's a good idea to do some of each.

The whole eating right and exercise thing really is the best. Also, it depends on how your body stores fat. Some people can eat all they want and have a 6 pack. Others can do 200 crunches a day and not get any results. It really just depends on where your body stores the fat. Also drink a lot of water through out the day, no soda, it will really cleanse your system. =)
