What do you think? A Dinmont is much poofier, but maybe the staffie blood gave him different hair? Personally I don't think he looks anything like a Dinmont, but I'm definitely no expert.

I took a look at the site and it surprises me that they would think he is a den terrier/staffie mix. Den terriers seem to come from the same lineage as Jack Russel terriers but they were finer boned so that they could follow a fox into it's den. So I guess if you are wondering about the temperament and exercise that this little fellow is going to exhibit and need...you would be best to research Jack Russell Terriers and Staffordshires. This is probably going to be an intelligent dog that will require a lot of exercise and training.

Good luck and have fun with your new puppy!

What makes you think that dog has Dinmont in him at all?

Obviously he's part staffie, possibly some Basenji, but definately no Dinmont!

That's just a jrt MUTT!!!!

NO "den" terrier=those were/are being made a guy in Pa. to hunt/WORK ***GROUNDHOG***...NOT FOX!! The JRT he started w/were TOO BIG for the chuck holes in his area!

NO WAY IN HEL* is there any "DANDY" in there!!
& No Staff either!

If you don't mind a GIGANTIC(they're supposed to be LESS than 15 lbs.!) jrt MUTT,that's fine. But do NOT fall for the stupid label that some idiot shelter people stuck on it! They are NOTORIOUS for not knowing SQUAT about dogs ***&*** for LYING to move dogs OUT to the credulous public!
