And what it is.

Interesting question!

Hard one to answer, actually. I'm Canadian and Christian. Although I'm very happy with my faith, and have no doubts about it, there have been a lot of people who have given it a bad name..So it's hard to be proud to call oneself a Christian anymore, regardless of whether you're on the good side of it or not.

However, Canada hasn't really got anything I can think of that I can't be proud of. We're very multi-cultural. Fairly good economy. Lots of wilderness and such. Great sence of humor (Especially about ourselves..But, then again..you need that when you live in an igloo without indoor plumbing, and in snow all year round, right? Lol). I don't think I'd chose to live anywhere else.

So, I guess when it comes down to it..I'm proud to be Canadian. Inside, I'd love to be able to say the same about Christianity..But, I guess I can about how 'I' handle being a Christian, at least.

Blessings and Love,
Sarah

My relationship to God is much more important to me than my nationality. But I thank God for where I was born, because I am allowed to practice my faith here freely. I am a Hindu American.

For me, and probably for most hindus in India, nationality and religion are not very different.
Nationality is part of religion, my be not for other faiths but it is for hindus.

Seeing as how I'm an atheist, I can only be proud of my nationality: Native American (Crow nation), Scot, and German.

My religion.

I'm Pagan.

I'm from the USA (boo) but from NYC (... uh?).

But yeah. Definitely more proud to be a Pagan, than to be an American.

1 Peter 2:11 "Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul."

Hebrews 11:13 "...And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.

I am more proud of my relationship with Christ because of Him my nationality is that of the heavenly kingdom.
