You'll do good to find out because this allows you to build a better friendship knowing that he's a great friend.
Or a better relationship knowing everything about him because of the foundation being built on the fact the you all were friends first.

a guy likes u more than a friend if he flirts with u, favors u, doesnt leave u for his friends (like if they all went to go and play football, but u had to study...yet he stayed with u to help even though he luvs football....) smiles a lot more around u, and is really happy around u.
