I've liked a guy 4 ages.I met him when i was 17 (2003) (i took him 2 my prom-a blind date)-we didn't speak much so things didn't go well.but something happened that night,maybe we connected in a silent way?after that i saw him every so often(@ functions-not planned).it felt like he was always looking at me-& sometimes trying to get close to me-but never getting the courage 2 approach me.eventually i took it upon myself to get things going.I approached his friends(well, i thought they were his friends).i doubt that went well,because i never got a reply from that.then i sent him a letter,through his friends again(i was naive)-that didn't work(and i found out later that his friends had opened it, embarrassing!).so i decided 2 leave things.a few months passed, i got a bf-it was fine for a few months-but then i felt i was being unfair to the person-i hadn't gotten over the 1st person, so i broke up with the guy.i chat to the 1st guy on messenger and it feels like he leaves all these hints?

You may have never gotten over the 1st guy, but the 1st guy never did make a move! You can't keep being the aggressor, or your going to be having a relationship by yourself! If this guy lets his friends control what he does, he's a immature baby, can you see this? Which means you'll never be in his life anyway! If the guy can talk to you on messenger, but can't in public, you have yourself a problem! Who likes to be hidden? This guy needs to come out on his own and show YOU he's interested, or your just plain wasting your time. Sorry to tell you this, but I am sure you already have this feeling. Dreaming will get you no where. He may want to, and act like it to YOU, but is HE?

It is natural to want to cling to the person that let us first really experience love. We always remember that great things from that relationship for seem to forget the bad. However, the reason the relationship did not work out was simply the lack of maturity and there was something missing in our lives that it is not yeilding to us. Personally I think you should move on; because if it didnt work out one odds are againist you that it wont work again. Every woman wants a man to want to scream his love for us from the roof tops and if this cant even let you know you are the most amazing woman (to him) then how can you possibly achieve the gratification you need as a woman to mature and truly become women.

Maybe instead of approaching his friends you should of went straight to the source.You should have told him how you felt about him. Obviously his friends never gave him the notes, or told him anything,they had fun at your expense. So I suggest that if your talking to him again, you need to just let him know how you feel and take it from there. And while your at it just ask him if he ever got any notes from his friends, because if he didn't,then he never knew how you felt. Good luck

stop being coy ask the guy out if you think he drops "all these hints" if he says no you can just avoid him on messenger
