I know this sounds harsh but it's really not what it seem. I am 21 in college and in found my ex's best friend on myspace this past December. We had a casual conversation but then we found that we had a lot in common...things we have both been looking for in a mate. I tried to contact my ex to catch up over the break, but he never called me back until it was too late. Is it wrong for me to date his best friend? And now that we are together, who should break the news to him that we are dating? I thought it wouldn't matter seeing as how he's never available when I call him and we dated back in high school? Help me Please!

It shouldnt matter who tells him,but someone should alert him so there are no big suprises......
If he wont return your calls or answer his phone,then how about getting his friend to tell him or another friend...but you should also be there.,,so that you can tell him how you feel and why you went ahead with seeing his best friend

Dating friends or family members of an ex-partner is beyond tacky. You and the pseudo-friend should break the news to your ex together. Then hang your heads in shame and shuffle away.

yes....for that guy his is dirty...to go out with his best friends ex is harsh...nothing good can really come from it...relationships come and go but friends are for life is my theory....maybe you should try experimenting at your college before you think about screwing a friendship over???
