A bad looking guy can go further with women if he has the confidence and the ability to talk with women well than a good looking guy who shys away from the women. I am the good looking guy.

A bad looking guy that has confidence will usually have a great since of humor (very sexy in any man). I would take that any day over a good looking man without similar qualities. A good looking shy man appears aloof and snobby and a girl has to keep her eye on her man and every woman alive with a good looking man. If you are shy, try being more friendly and open, develop a good sense of humor and be confident but be careful that you don't come across argorant(sp)

YES it is correct. My fiance is sooo cute but was always shy with women so that is why he never had any real dates before me. I had to make the first move on everything, that is why we are together and engaged. He asked me to marry him but i would bring up the subject of marriage. He is more confident now that hes with me but he could have had TONS of GFs in high school if he had been more confident. He was into sports and was very outgoing but didnt have the guts to ask anyone out!
And not to sound mean but i have dated some UGLY guys in my past because they were confident enough to ask me out after starting a conversation with me.
So any guy should not "hit" on a woman right away. What they need to do is strike up a conversation at a party or anywhere and if the woman is interested in what you have to say (keeps talking to you and smiling) then that is your clue that she may go out with you. Then ask her out after a 10 to 15min pleasant conversation. If she clearly does not like you then she will say as little as possible and will run away fast.

Sometimes, depending on the woman.
If a man is not-so-good-looking, confidence goes a long way, but he may come off sleasy or trying too hard. But a shy cute guy is a challenge, but not so if it turns out he has no personality.
In my opinion women would rather have the personality powerhouse cute or not, than just a cute man to stare at.

Yes. It's true. Women like men who are confident.
Just practice a little. Start off by making friends with women on a simply plutonic level. Practice your confident approach on them, then move on to women you are interested in.
If you're good looking it won't be hard. We are most attracted to the good looking guys first. So, you have first shot at them.
You just need to familiarize yourself with talking to women.
Don't worry. We LOVE to talk and especially to guys who will listen. Sit back and just contribute to the converstion now and then. The girl might feel she is really lucky to have a guy that listens.

An attractive guy usually last for couple weeks, months and years. But the man who is bad looking and knows how to manipulate the relationship will last forever... This is true, because I noticed lately these awesomely attractive wives are married to some weird looking guys that makes me ask, " What about this guy she really likes so much?"

My husband and I swear we're gross people. It's just a big joke between us though. Sometimes we try to be gross on purpose just to make it into a contest. The baby usually wins. Personality, lack of overly gross habits, communication, love, and companionship with one person can get you a long way. We can roll around in the woods for a week and clean off in a river and still adore each other. Just have to open up and find the right person. Try to be truthful and not so judgemental of yourself or the other person. Just enjoy yourself. Confidence will come when you are truely happy, or you might just stumble on it one day.

not exactly about the looks, but its quite true. Personality really counts. Some not so good looking guy catches even the 'cheer leader', i mean, its about how you carry yourself. if you're 'the good looking' , then, be confident about it, dont just say it coz girls can see good looking guys even from a distance or behind a thick eye glasses or lousy clothes.. (giggle)

sorry to say that it depends on the woman in question. With me, i have been in this situation and chose the other guy because i felt he was more genuine and I would rather date a man of good character than looks....looks can fade, character usually lasts forever....

I would say it's true...to a point.
If a guy is a jerk, good looking or not he's not gonna get far with me.
A guy who is confident though usually gets my attention regardless of his looks.
