Nope... I always get annoyed when other people tell others that hair grows back thicker. It doesn't grow back thicker!!! First of all, imagine making a line on a piece of paper... One end of the line of thicker than the other... Okay? The thicker part is where the root of the hair is... When you cut/shave the hair, the hair follicle is still there beneathe the skin, inside the pore. When it grows out, the thick end is showing. The middle of the shaft of hair. That is why it looks thicker because it actually is the thicker part of the hair that is showing. When you don't shave, fabrics are rubbing against the hairs so it thins the ends of the hair down.

Think of when you cut your nails. When you first cut your nails with a nailclipper, doesn't your nails seem sharper? After a few days, the nails seem normal again, not all sharp. This is because you do stuff with your hands and the rubbing of other objects with your nails dulls it down. It is the same concept.

Okay, now about shaving your pubic hair. I've been shaving for a few years already. Why? Because it feels better to me and I don't like excessively hairiness. The bumps you see are from shaving. Don't shave against the shaft of the hairs, it causes ingrown hairs which is what you see. That was my mistake the first time I shaved and it was horrible! I itched like crazy and I was scared so I used a needly to poke it and pull the hair follicle that was trapped underneath out. Now I hardly ever get those maybe one or two every few months. I shave downwards and diagonally but not going upwards. Try to gently exfoliate that area so the hairs can come out faster. I heard from other friends that it just eventually comes out but I get annoyed and I just poke it and pull the hair out.

Hope that was helpful and good luck!

Yes your hair SHOULD grow back like it was before. And the red pimple bumps you are seeing is razor burn. When shaving pubic hair it is best to do after a bath or shower (or better yet IN the bath or shower) this softens up the hair and makes it easier to shave with less irritation. Try different products to use other than shaving cream, some swear by soap, some by hair conditioner, but i found using a shaving gel along with a dab of hair conditioner works best. When your in the shower, wash your hair body etc first, shave last so the water has time to soften up the hair. Shave in the same direction the hair grows at first this will give the least amount of irritation to your skin. **NOTE you have to pay attention to the direction your hair is growing, it may not be all the same, ex. the middle might grow down, toward your leg might grow sideways, etc) After a little experience the area down there SEEMs to get use to being shaved and will not bother you as much. ALSO very important tip, after shaving down there, apply some baby oil in the area, don't go wild on it, just a touch will do. I do this once a day. These directions helped reduce and or eliminate those unsightly red irritating bumps down there. Hope it helps! =)

If you shave your pubic hair, it will eventually grow back the same length if you let it. Just try trimming with scissors about once every 2 weeks to keep it short. I don't really suggest shaving, because you will get those "red pimply bumps".... they're not pimples. They're caused by the razor you're using. Shaving irritates all skin, but the skin "down there" is much more sensitive than, say, your legs. That's why the bumps appeared. People who say that hair grows back thicker when you shave are misinformed. When you shave, the razor cuts hair above the skin, and cannot possibly affect the hair follicles underneath the skin. It just seems thicker because it's shorter and stubbly. When it grows out to it's natural length, you'll see that's it's NOT thicker than before.

Hope this helps!

I hope u didnt shave n th down there area but if u did ull b ok. I hav a friend who shave he says he do it b/c he gets bored or it irratate him. It's ok to shave so dont worry.

If u shave it will grow bac. It's th same as shavin ur hair off ur head, armpits, legs, mustache, sideburns and ext. Lots of boyz and gurlz shave n alot of areas but it alwayz grow bac. After th 1st time they decide if they want 2 shave again or they'll think of all the pain and irratation they went through or they didnt like how it looks.

The bumps are not like th bumps u get on ur face they are different. They can be itchy and red. It is very irratatin. You must have shaved to hard but youll be fine.

Now the growing part may take a while but i promise it will grow bac. After that u decide if u wanna do it again. Its just like shavin ur legs or your hair off ya head. So dont worry. Oh and th bumps will go away when the hair comes.

Yes it will grow back normal. Be careful of ingrown hair bumps! When shaving your pubic hair, you are supposed to shave WITH the grain! You can try this cream called Bikini Zone, it's available at Wal-Mart or a drug store. It will help take care of the red bumps! Try using Nair... The hair will stay gone longer!

i don't think it grows back any thicker. the red bumbs is just from where you hauled the hairs out and stuff dont worry about it. i find putting moisturizer on the area after you shave helps it some. and do not use a dull razer, that is the worst thing you can do. You could try waxing but if you have senstive skin i dont recommend you do it, stick with the shaving.

I tend to just use a regular razor in the shower. Wait until your skin has been in the hot water for a good few minutes though. If you have bumps try using a different moisturising bodywash. Dove is good. First timers get them but once you've done it for awhile they'll go away. My best friend sells products for Passion Parties. She has this EXCELLENT stuff for shaving sensitive areas that you might want to check out. Tell her Mz Criztale sent you and good luck.
www.myspace.com/melly_baby_69 is her address and if you're not a myspace user just "send a message" so she can get back to you.

if youre going to do it in a hot shower or something.. the heat and steam will soften the hair and open your pores more to make the process easier.. this should also be done with shaving legs or men shaving their face..

and the red bumps are ingrown hairs..

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
