Chlorine kills it ...but direct contact...skin to skin...can spread it....just keep putting cream on and keep it covered...don't touch it you can spread it else where on your body.

I've heard an anti-fungal cream like Lotrimin or something like that works for ring worm also.

Clorox will dry it right up and for the itching try Dr. Tichner's mouthwash you know is that undilluted brownish like mouthwash it works wonders. I used to have these bad as a kid from my cat it might sound weird but it works. dont scratch it will spread and wash your bedding too. Hope this helps.

american home health sells a product called ps bathroom foam;kills salmonella.6 other kinds of bacteria. most importantly it kills fungus.(trychophytom mentagrophytes) squirt some foam diluted into boiled cooled off water(1 tsp foam in 3 or 4 oz water) wipe it on the blotchies.clean yer tub with it full strength,cuz yer probably spreadin it around,had same problem,through in the trash miconaczole.lotrimine,lamisil,household chlorine bleach,clotrimizole,took diflucan ,aveno cream.nothing worked until noting the antifungal property of the foam which i bought .other crap total expense,plus doctor visits,time off work

ringworm is very contagious. hopefully, you will stay away from children and pregnant women till its healed. wash your hands and bedding. don't pick at it. use the med for at least 5 days after the "ring" is gone.
